Here's Why Brad Pitt Does Not 'Stand In The Way' Of His Kids!

Brad Pitt is the definition of a risk taker.

The award-winning actor was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma and grew up in Springfield, Missouri. He attended college at the University of Missouri- Columbia to study journalism.

However, Pitt had his sights set on a bigger prize and saw his life panning out a little differently.

He dropped out of college two weeks before he was set to graduate and headed for Los Angeles.

He told Poynter in 2011, “It just came to the time of graduation and everyone — all my friends were committing to jobs — and I just realized I was not ready for that yet...I packed up my car. I didn’t graduate — I had two weeks left — and I moved out to L.A.”

Obviously, this split-decision worked out majorly in Pitt’s favor.

So, when it comes to his own children and their futures, Papa Pitt isn’t going to ‘stand in the way.’

The ‘Oceans’ actor has three biological children, as well as, three adopted children with ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.

Pitt is the father of kids Maddox, 20, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13.

Despite the messy split between Pitt and Jolie, the actor continues to parent his underage kids as best he can.

A source close to Pitt exclusively revealed to E! News that he always supports his kids and “what makes them happy.”

The source added that the kids are ‘old enough now’ and are able to make their own decisions.

“He doesn't stand in the way. He's encouraged them to be whoever they want to be. He wouldn't ask for anything different," the source revealed.

Pitt’s children have recently been on a massive world tour with their mom, Jolie, to help promote her new movie, “The Eternals.”

While it may seem like all glitz and glam for the A-list kids, the source said things are more ‘low key’ at dad’s house.

"He spends low key time with his kids at home," the insider adds. “They are homebodies and have a good routine in place. He keeps their time together private.”

Despite Pitt’s desire to keep his and his children’s’ time together private, Jolie has opted to keep them in the public eye, so much so, that she possibly exposed them to Covid-19.

The Blast previously reported that the actress could’ve have exposed five of her six children to the deadly virus during her press tour for her new movie.

Sources spoke exclusively to Hollywood Life who shared that while the actor felt like it was a risky choice, he doesn’t actually feel that Jolie can be held responsible.

“Brad may have his issues with Angie, but he in no way would ever reason to think that she would actively put her kids in harm,” claims the source. It was reported earlier this week by Variety that there was a potential COVID-19 outbreak at the highly anticipated premiere.

“Though herself, the Eternals cast, and maybe even their kids were exposed to Covid, that is just the world we live in, and these things are going to happen,” the source explained.
