Bethenny Frankel reacted to the just-released trailer for The Real Housewives of New York City season 12 on her Instagram Stories last night with a hilarious post about Sonja Morgan.
Along with a clip from the trailer, which featured Morgan with her pants around her ankles, Frankel shared a witty caption.
“I’m so glad my jeans are at your ankles [Skinnygirl Brand] as they should be,” Frankel wrote after Morgan included the tag for both Frankel and her Skinnygirl Brand in her own post.
“This is where I needed [Bethenny Frankel]
right? A hug and kiss and goodnight!” she wrote in her post.
Along with Morgan’s post, she shared a moment from the Real Housewives of New York City trailer in which she was seen falling backward in a chair during a group meal with her co-stars.
“I have decided to leave the ‘Housewives’ franchise to explore my next chapter,” Frankel explained. “It’s time to move on and focus on my daughter, my philanthropy and my production partnership with Mark Burnett, producing and starring in shows which represent a shift in the conversation for women.”
“With the changes in modern culture, I want to highlight the strength, confidence and unstoppable power that women have,” she continued.
Frankel then said that her time with Bravo has been incredible and added that she was grateful to the network for allowing her to highlighting her entrepreneurialism and pave the way for other women to achieve their goals.
“I am excited for my future. The best is yet to come,” she teased.
As fans may recall, Frankel first left the show after season three to focus on her short-lived FOX talk show, Bethenny, and her Bravo spinoff series, Bethenny Ever After.
While some cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City have suggested that the show will be better without Frankel, Morgan has spoken highly about Frankel since her exit from the series and judging by the ladies’ recent social media posts, they have remained close.
Joining Morgan and the other returning cast members of the show for the upcoming 12th season, which premieres in April, is new cast member Leah McSweeney, who was first spotted filming in August 2019 with cast member Tinsley Mortimer.
