Did You Catch Maddie Ziegler's Cameo in 'To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You'?

The follow-up to the hit Netflix original movie, To All The Boys I've Loved Before came out this week. To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You follows Lara Jean and her relationship with Peter (from the first film).

Lara Jean learns to navigate dating in high school, and it's not the easiest for her. At one point, Peter and Lara Jean talk about how she doesn't dress up for his games like the other girlfriends do.

Maddie Ziegler's character is a cheerleader that only has a few lines, but they propel the story forward.

Maddie Ziegler is one of those names that sounds familiar, but sometimes you can't remember exactly where she came from. We'll refresh your memory.

She's better known as the girl from Dance Moms and the girl from Sia's music videos.

It seems that she's trying to break into the world of acting with her short line in To All the Boys.

Her character plants a seed of doubt in Lara Jean's mind, telling her to expect more romance now that her and Peter are officially dating.

Ziegler released many videos on Instagram of her practicing for the role, including some videos of her rehearsing cheerleader moves.

A lot of her fans were hoping to see her in a bigger part of the film, as she spoke about her part a lot o the internet. She even had an appearance in the trailer.

However, many were upset to find she was only really in the film for a few short seconds when she spoke to Lara Jean.

'To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean'


If you didn't already know, there's going to be a third To All the Boys movie, titled To All The Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean.

It's possible that Ziegler's character could appear once more in this third installment, but it seems like she may have more important things going on.

But let's focus on what really matters here, there's going to be a third To All the Boys movie. The second one was a great addition, so surely the third will be as well.

Future Acting Projects

Ziegler is also gearing up to be in a Steven Spielberg movie. His adaptation of West Side Story features the dancer as Velma.

Velma is one of the main characters, meaning Ziegler will have to put her dancing and acting skills to good use.

She even told Entertainment Tonight that working with Spielberg was, "life-changing."

We can't wait to see what the Sia dancer does next, and hopefully, her role in West Side Story doesn't disappoint. Who knows, maybe we'll see her in the next To All the Boys.
