He's usually so good with words, so we'll give him this one!

Justin Bieber has bravely shared a clip of him messing up his vows during his September 2019 wedding to model Hailey Baldwin-Bieber. The 25-year-old Canadian singer must've gotten a little nervous when the minister officiating the ceremony had Bieber play a game of "repeat after me" - it was when he was told to say "in token and pledge of our constant faith" that Justin got a little tongue-tied.

You can find said clip during episode seven of Justin's Seasons docu-series, where he responds to the prompt by saying the following:

"In token and pledge in our...in token?"

It's at this point when the Biebs looked at the minister for some help. After the phrase was repeated, Justin clarified: "In token and pledge?" Sounds like he wasn't so sure about the pledge part! We're kidding, but Justin continued rehearsing his lines while standing hand-in-hand with his bride-to-be.

"In token," he asked again, "and pledge?"

"What does that mean?!" Bieber said, to which the whole crowd giggled. Truthfully, we're a little upset he missed the perfect opportunity to make reference to his 2015 hit song "What Do U Mean?" We'd also say "better luck next time," but we really hope there isn't a next time!

Spoiler alert; they did make it through their nuptials to become man and wife, and sweet Hailey has nothing but great memories of their special day.

"Everything happened the exact way it was supposed to," she said during the episode.

"I really believe that. Even all the little mishaps that might have happened, and us stumbling over our words, and whatever it was - I think it was so meant to be."

Justin and Hailey were officially married in September 2018 at a New York court house, but opted to hold off on a public celebration until a full year later. In a recent interview with Elle, Mrs. Bieber explained the real reason behind their decision was due to Justin's health.

“When we first got married, we were just figuring out our life together. I felt like putting a wedding in the middle of all of that would be really hectic and stressful," Hailey told the magazine. She said they were living in a world of uncertainty because they had no answers as to why her husband wasn't feeling well.

"He was really sick. He has Lyme disease, and he was dealing with a bunch of medical stuff. We didn’t have a diagnosis [at the time].”

Everything worked out, though - their beautiful, star-studded South Carolina wedding included guests like Kris, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner, as well as Kylie's daughter Stormi. Tonight also marks a very important day in the life of the Biebers, as Justin's new album Changes releases tomorrow, February 14th. This is his first studio album in five years.
