Miranda Cosgrove Opens Up About Mysterious Hole In Her Leg!

“iCarly” star Miranda Cosgrove is getting candid about a bizarre incident that left a giant hole in her leg!

The Disney actress recently opened up about a 2011 accident that led her to be bruised, battered and broken.

At the time, Cosgrove was touring cross-country to promote her debut album when the tour bus she was riding on crashed in the middle of the night.

The accident left her with a serious ankle break and injury.

Lucky for the budding young star, who would’ve been about 19-years-old at the time, her injuries were operable; however, when she got out of surgery and took off her cast something was NOT RIGHT!

Cosgrove recently stopped by actor Sean Hayes’ and Dr. Priyanka Wali’s podcast, “HypochondriActor” podcast to relive the tale of her leg hole.

To set the scene, the actress stated that she takes things to the “extreme” when she or any of her foster animals are sick.

“It’s gotten to the point that when I take one of my animals there [the veterinarian] and I’m right, I’m like ‘Yes, at least they’re not going to think I’m insane,’” she admitted.

The tour bus was coming around a corner when they hit an overturned semi-truck that had already been in an accident and that’s when the two vehicles collided. Cosgrove admitted that she was sleeping through the entire thing.

“When I woke up there was like this bookshelf on top of me because things kind of flew, but I didn’t know what was going on so I just kind of pushed it off,” she explained. “It was so strange, because when I woke up, I had a cast on, like a soft cast, and then later I went back and they removed it."

She continued, “And then that's when I noticed the hole. And I was asking questions like, 'What's this? What's that?' And then I was like, 'Wait, why is there a hole in my leg?' So, they were like, 'Oh, we didn't do that.'"

Cosgrove explained the hole is in between her ankle and knee on the front side of her leg.

“It’s kind of about the size of the top of an Expo marker. It’s not big,” the “iCarly” actress revealed.

While she never got ANY answers about how this mysterious hole appeared in her leg, she did say that it has since healed, but you can still faintly see the scar.
