Ariana Grande Looks Cute As A Button Driving Around L.A. In Granny Glasses

Ariana Grande was literal cuteness overload Tuesday night as she was photographed driving around Los Angeles and wearing retro plastic glasses. The "thank u, next" singer tends not to be snapped with eyewear – catwing eyeliner is, of course, now as much a part of the 26-year-old's trademark as her iconic high ponytail.

Photos obtained by The Daily Mail showed the Grammy winner behind the wheel and looking carefree as she enjoyed a hands-free phonecall. While close-up photos of the "Victorious" alum did show her to be wearing eye makeup, it was those granny glasses that likely melted fans.

Photos showed Grande photographed up close while she drove. The star was grinning and showing off her stunning facial features from behind an oversized and slightly-winged pair of glasses in clear perspex – admittedly, there was a slight granny feel to the eyewear, with Ariana also seen in a Groot-themed headband.

Ariana wore a simple gray sweater with a round neckline, also sporting a little lip gloss. She was seen with her smartphone strapped near the vehicle's dashboard – it's hands-free for Ari.

Ariana has made headlines this week for reportedly being spotted kissing a mystery man. TMZ reports the songstress to have locked lips with an unknown male in the early hours of Sunday morning during a bar outing.

Ariana, her male friend, and others were briefly at Bar Louie, where it's reported that the singer asked for the DJ to change the music after he put on her "God Is A Woman" track. Grande had briefly been making headlines for possibly dating "Boyfriend" co-singer Mikey Foster, but nothing seems to have come from the two.

Claims To Be The 'Luckiest' And 'Unluckiest' Girl In The World

With smash-hit records, a Grammy win, and 40 billion online streams, it's fair to say that Grande's career is going strong. That said, the singer has confessed to feeling both lucky and unlucky.

“I have to be the luckiest girl in the world, and the unluckiest, for sure,” she told Vogue last year.

“I’m walking this fine line between healing myself and not letting the things that I’ve gone through be picked at before I’m ready, and also celebrating the beautiful things that have happened in my life and not feeling scared that they’ll be taken away from me because trauma tells me that they will be, you know what I mean?” she added.

It's been a rough few years for Ariana, both in her personal life and in elements of her career. The star was left heartbroken in 2018 when ex-boyfriend Mac Miller died, with 2019 also proving turbulent – Ariana's 24-day, whirlwind engagement to SNL star Pete Davidson fell apart in October 2019.

Since splitting from Pete, Ariana has seen further career growth, taking on the role of ambassador for luxury French designer Givenchy. Ariana also attended the 2020 Grammy Awards and remains the most-followed woman on Instagram.
