The invention of social media continues to make us feel like the cast of Friends are actually our friends. Luckily, yesterday was no different!

Monica Gellar Courteney Cox shared a fun Instagram post on February 11th in celebration of Jennifer Aniston's 51st birthday. First of all, we can't believe Jen is 51. Second of all, we can't believe she ever turned 50 YEARS OLD in the first place. We remember it happening, but photo evidence tells us she's aging backwards. Maybe Aveeno has been the secret all along!

Cox, 51, wished warm birthday sentiments to her Friends co-star on Tuesday afternoon:

"No matter how hard you might try... there’s only one Jennifer Aniston. Happy birthday my dear friend @jenniferaniston! I love you!♥️♥️♥️"

In her post, Cox is pictured alongside Aniston wearing matching aviator-style eyeglasses, similar haircuts (and colors!) while donning all-black tops. The photo has gained over two million likes and includes a comment from Aniston herself:

We know her slew of emojis aren't actual words, but in today's world, they kind of are!

Courteney Cox also posted a joint birthday wish to both Jennifer Aniston and musician Sheryl Crow via her same-day Instagram story. The update included a photo of the three superstar ladies seated together at an event.

"Happy birthday to these two beauties," her caption read. She tagged both Crow and Aniston's Instagram handles surrounded by three heart emojis.

Just like her friendship with Sheryl, Court's relationship with Jen has been very longstanding. Cox even acted as a bridesmaid in Aniston's 2015 wedding to now-ex-husband, Justin Theroux.

But this wasn't the first time Court was 'there for her' - she stood alongside Jen during her 2000 wedding to Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt. Obviously their marriage didn't work out, but best pal Court hasn't been shy about clicking "like" on multiple post about the sweet reunion that Jen and Brad had during the SAG Awards last month!

And although we KNOW Courteney's birthday sentiments were anything but insincere, we can't help but also notice how interesting the timing is of this amongst many other Friends-related things - including Chandler Bing Matthew Perry finally joining Instagram.

We reported last month that any sort of Friends reunion was on a break. However, new developments over the recent days have insisted that this highly anticipated reunion is actually happening.

Bottom line, this exciting update came last Thursday (February 6th) when Deadline announced that the upcoming HBO Max Streaming platform finally reaching solid deal with all six members of the show's original cast. A previous report by the publication said: "the negotiations [for a Friends reunion] had recently come to a standstill in an impasse over money." It seems like they were able to negotiate something agreeable, as each member of the ensemble allegedly be receiving between $3-$4 million for appearing on this unscripted, one-hour special.

As far as we're concerned, give them all the coins! We can't wait!
