A little over 23 years ago, on September 13, 1996, the famous rapper Tupac Shakur was shot four times in Las Vegas, Nevada. He allegedly died one week later in the hospital from the gunshot wounds.
There have been many theories over the years about whether or not Tupac really did get shot four times that night in Las Vegas and whether or not he truly did die one week later while in the hospital because of those gunshot wounds.
With so many theories being talked about over the years about whether or not the rapper is dead or alive, it isn’t any wonder that a new theory has been brought to light for us to ponder over. This new theory has actually been made into a documentary, called ‘2Pac: The Great Escape From UMC,’ about the rapper and what Los Angeles filmmaker, Rick Boss truly believes happened that night. Not only does he believe it but the documentary he made wasn’t just made from assumptions by him or others. It was created around facts told by family members and close friends of the rapper.

What supposedly happened that night in Las Vegas when Tupac allegedly sustained four gunshot wounds? According to reports from the night in question, Tupac was at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas watching the fight between Bruce Seldon and Mike Tyson
After the fight was over, he went to Suge Knight’s home, who founded the record label Death Row Records with Dr. Dre in 1991. They had a plan that night to go to Club 662, which was also owned by Suge Knight.
While riding along with Suge Knight in his BMW on the way to the club, a white Cadillac pulled up beside them and started firing shots toward both Knight and Shakur. The shots hit both men, injuring Knight but severely wounding Shakur.
Knight got Shakur to the hospital as fast as he could because he was wounded so badly from the bullets that entered his body, he was losing a lot of blood really fast. However, allegedly the healing hands of the nurses and doctors weren’t enough to save Shakur, because the gunshots wounds ‘killed’ him one week later.
No one knows exactly who killed Shakur still to this day if he is really dead. However, one theory about who may have allegedly killed him was Orlando ‘Baby Lane’ Anderson, a gang member from the Southside Crips.
Although many people will never believe Shakur actually faked his death, the new documentary by Rick Boss says otherwise. The new theory and the facts that actually came from Shakur’s own family and close friends, suggests that there was actually a body double in Knight’s BMW that night when everything went down. The facts present the idea that Shakur actually went into hiding with the Navajo Indian tribe in New Mexico and has been hiding out with them this whole time. Why would he actually go to this much trouble, though? Apparently, Shakur knew that the gang, the Crips were after him.
As Shakur was ready to fake his death by using a body double, he allegedly managed to escape by helicopter to New Mexico.
There were many more theories surrounding the alleged death of Tupac Shakur. What do you think? Do you believe Tupac died more than 23 years ago or do you believe what some others believe and that he faked his death to hide from the Crips gang?
