Controversy has swirled around Dave Chappelle after comments he made about trans people in his Netflix special “The Closer.”

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos decided to back Chappelle and stand behind the comedian.

This led to an employee walkout, looking for safer working conditions for trans employees.

Chappelle recently made a video that has caused even more of a stir online.

“They said you want a safe working environment at Netflix. Well, it seems like I'm the only one that can't go to the office anymore,” he said.

He then listed a set of conditions, among them: “you must admit that Hannah Gadsby is not funny.”

Sarandos previously dragged Gadsby into the controversy by listing her Netflix special “Nanette” as an example of “diverse content.”

Gadsby is an Australian comedian and lesbian, who frequently mentions her sexuality in her routines.

Many fans have raised eyebrows as why Chappelle would target Gadsby directly.
