Kate Beckinsale may never fully fight off those dating rumors – the 46-year-old actress has BFF and platonic friend Jonathan Voluck splattered all over her Instagram, but she maintains that nothing saucy is going on.

If you're wondering who the short guy standing next to Kate is, it's Paramount Pictures executive and long-time friend of the actress, Jonathan. The "Underworld" star took to Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate Voluck's birthday, and she managed to squeeze in a little bikini action in the process.

Kate's birthday post came in the form of four videos. The first showed the British beauty dancing the night away with Jonathan and wowing in a black bandeau top with matching pants.

A quick swipe to the right showed amusing footage of the two chilling on loungers, with hints of Kate's sizzling bikini body visible as she tickled her pal with a feather-like stalk. Jonathan was lying shirtless next to the actress and laughing – the two had previously appeared in their swimwear back in November 2019.

The third video showed Kate, Jonathan, and a crowd singing on a private jet, with the final video reminding fans of the twosome's friendship as they danced on a beach – here, Kate made a very NSFW joke about Voluck.

A caption from Kate wished her friend all the best on his special day, alongside admitting that fans may forever think they are either dating or related.

"Happy birthday dearest @jsauluck. The best dance partner, hospital visitor, sharer of tea and all round bestie. May we have many more years of people assuming you are my boyfriend, husband, son, or Harry Potter as a dangerous criminal. I love you b*tccccch ???," she wrote.

Kate then took to the comments section calling Voluck "literally the OG" when Nick Lehmann called him "the best man I know."

When it comes to being the BFF of choice, Jonathan wins. He's joined Kate for posed evening looks, selfies, and a raunchy look at the actress' cleavage, also having joined the actress on December 21, 2019 as the two posed at a ritzy soirée. Here, Jonathan appeared on Kate's lap.

Jonathan also accompanied Kate for a hilarious convenience store shoot back in October 2019 – both were in fancy dress, with Kate channeling her inner Audrey Hepburn.

Comments poured in to Kate's post, with many users mentioning how sweet the friendship is – and how lucky Jonathan is.

Kate is currently single, although she has made relationship headlines this past year. The star briefly dated SNL star Pete Davidson in 2019, then denying dating Machine Gun Kelly after the two left the 2020 Golden Globes together.
