Talk show host Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos are known to have one of the most stable marriages in Hollywood.

After 23 years of marriage, the couple isn't afraid to show their affection for each other.

The couple usually engages in PDA on the red carpet, and they've been known to flirt with each other via social media.

While fame may be an issue to some couples, Kelly and Mark have shown they don't let anything come between them.

Soap opera co-stars

Long before hitting it big as a morning show host, Ripa was on a soap opera.

In 1990, she landed the role of Hayley Vaughn on the ABC soap All My Children. Kelly's job on the series would change in life in more ways than one.

Five years after Kelly joined the show, Mark was cast in the role of Mateo Santos. Mateo was written as a new love interest for Hayley. Not only did sparks fly for their onscreen characters, but in real-life Kelly and Mark began dating.

Marriage and parenthood

A year after they began dating, Kelly and Mark eloped in Vegas in May 1996.

Their secret marriage was a shock to their co-stars and fans.

As the couple settled into their new life as newlyweds, they'd soon learn that a new addition would be arriving.

A few months after eloping Kelly discovered she was pregnant. In June 1997, their first child, a son named Michael was born.

Four years later in June 2001, their daughter Lola was born. Then in February 2003, Ripa gave birth to their third child, a son named Joaquin.

Kelly's rise to fame

In 2001, while she was still on All My Children, Ripa auditioned to become Regis Philbin's new co-host for the morning show Live!

Ripa was hired as the new co-host and she made her debut in February 2001. Viewership increased with Kelly's debut as fans loved her happy, bubbly attitude.

Aside from her work as a talk show host, Ripa also became a spokeswoman, and she also starred on the short-lived sitcom Hope & Faith.

When Regis Philbin decided to retire in November 2011, Ripa stayed with Live! and became the new head host.

In 2012, former NFL player Michael Strahan signed on to be Kelly's new co-host. The football player stayed for about three years before moving to Good Morning America.

Kelly's new co-host is now Ryan Seacrest, who's been with the show since May 2017.

While his wife has become a big-name star, Mark has continued to act with bit parts in television and films. He's currently working on the CW series Riverdale.

Throughout the years, the couple has been the focus of the tabloids. Many of the gossip magazines said that Kelly and Mark's marriage was in trouble due to her rising fame.

However, the couple has proven that the tabloid reports are false.

The two are as madly in love today as they were during their soap opera days.
