The person who allegedly supplied the deadly pills to rapper Mac Miller, ultimately causing his death, is facing a huge prison sentence after excepting a plea deal in his case.

According to multiple reports, Stephen Walter entered a guilty plea to one count of "distribution of fentanyl" and the other drug-related charges he was being prosecuted for having been dropped. The legal documents associated with the case, apparently spell out what punishment might be in store for the drug dealer.

The documents point out that a maximum sentence, in this case, could be more than 20 years. But, prosecutors are recommending 17 years in prison, plus 5 years of supervised release. Normally, in cases like this, the lawyers on both sides have discussed the plea deal -- and the judge usually goes along with the deal.

Also, the original sentencing guideline included lifetime supervised release, and up to a million-dollar fine.

As we reported, prosecutors in this case claim Stephen was the person responsible for indirectly giving Mac the deadly Percocet pills -- laced with Fentanyl -- that ultimately cost him his life. On the night in question, investigators claim another person -- Cameron James Pettit -- hit up Walter, who then sent a runner to drop the pills off to Miller.

Interestingly, one report claims prosecutors make a point to say that Stephen pleading guilty in this case means he is fully aware of what he was giving Miller on that night, counterfeit oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl. As you know, the drug is responsible for several celebrity deaths, including Tom Petty and Prince.

According to the L.A. County Coroner's Office, Mac Miller died from a mix of fentanyl and cocaine. The official cause of death was "mixed drug toxicity" which included fentanyl, coke, and alcohol. Back in 2108, investigators claim Mac's assistant found him unresponsive on his bed in a "praying position."

At the time, there was an abrasion on the bridge of his nose, and blood coming out of one nostril. An empty botting of alcohol was found on his nightstand, and a bottle of prescription pills was found in the bathroom. According to the autopsy report, the list of pills recovered at his home included Xanax, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and a generic Adderall.

Unfortunately, cops also found a rolled-up $20 bill with a white powdery substance on it in his pocket -- along with an iPad with a "linear white powdery residue" on it, and two baggies filled with the powder in his home. Interestingly, the report says the amount of each drug wasn't enough to kill him, but the combination of all of them was deadly.

Mac Miller suffered from substance abuse issues for years, and it ultimately led to his break up with Ariana Grande.

The drug dealer is due back in court at a later date, where a judge will decide the exact amount of time behind bars.
