Kate Beckinsale isn’t to be messed with. The actress whose Instagram is as famous for its razor-sharp wit as it is those jaw-dropping gym moves has clapped back at a troll – 46-year-old Kate didn’t appreciate being called an “artificial puppet” as she showcased her Women in Hollywood outfit.
Kate updated her Instagram recently to show off the dazzling white dress she wore to the Vanity Fair x Lancôme party she attended.
One remark definitely stood out, but it’s now seeing Kate own the situation.
The comments section now sees likes to Kate’s clapback far outweigh those left to the troll’s comment.
“Looking like Madame Tussauds artificial puppets,” the user wrote.
Three days into the storm, their comment sat at 58 likes. Meanwhile, Kate racked up over 1,200 likes for her very NSFW clap-back.
“Let’s swap so I can look like a bald c*nty man,” Kate fired back.
It’s worth remembering that Kate’s replies are nearly always witty. When another user threw out a less-than-savory comment, Kate once again took the reins.
“Have you tried your compliments on actual women or just inflatable? They might need a polish,” Kate wrote.
Alongside showing their support via likes, fans were quick to further support the “Underworld” actress with comments.
As Kate clapped back to the “artificial puppets” comment, users quickly chimed in.
“Reading your comments gives me joy,” one fan wrote.
“Best comeback ever!!!!” another said.
“Well…even as a puppet…still amazing, amazing, amazing dear…,” one fan told the star, adding two fire emoji.
The update also proved popular overall, clocking over 148,000 likes. Kate later returned to Instagram in her ruffled and petticoat-style dress for a hilarious moment with her cat.
Kate has been firing back with full force this year. Red hot photos of the actress flaunting her bikini body earlier in January mostly brought fans to their knees, but the user telling Kate she was “too old” to be posting bikini pics got their reply.
“Are you aware that when you get the urge to accuse someone of something, especially someone you don’t know, or attribute an intention without ever having met the person, that the only thing really being achieved is revealing something about yourself or something you fear about yourself?” Kate wrote.
Kate’s Instagram is unique in all kinds of ways. Alongside this star’s insane flexibility, the content posted by the Brit includes her sarcastic sense of humor – often with a NSFW edge.
Kate has revealed her vagina name on Instagram (Harold Wilson), also having a knack for spotting objects that appear phallic – and mentioning them. Kate told Kelly Ripa that the faucets on “Live!” appear phallic. She also used the term when referring to a punchbag she was photographed with – for Kate, it was a “phallic duvet.”
The tl;dr seems simple with Kate. Don’t mess with her unless you can take the consequences.
