Dog the Bounty Hunter, Duane Chapman is no longer living with the woman who moved in on Beth Chapman’s territory after her death last year. Moon Angell started out as an assistant to Dog and Beth at their Da’Kine Bail Bonds company featured on their hit show. Unfortunately, their companionship has rubbed almost all of Chapman’s family members the wrong way, especially his daughter Lyssa “Baby Lyssa” Chapman. She has been extremely vocal online about the relationship that seemed to come out of nowhere.
TMZ is now reporting that Angell has packed up and moves out of the house that Chapman once shared with his wife, Beth. Sources that are close to the family has shared that Chapman and Angell had a serious sit down this week. He informed her that she has to move out of the house. He reportedly thanked her for everything she has done for him, but it was time to go. This was supposedly the plan all along and Angell knew about it.
She moved in to make sure that Chapman would be okay within the months after Beth’s passing. She was meant to be a support system. In doing so, she was responsible for maintaining the house and organizing his life after what was such a trying time. Beth passed on June 26 of 2019 after a few hard-fought battles with throat cancer. She was placed in a medically induced coma to help her fight this last bout of cancer, but it, unfortunately, did not help and she was pronounced dead.
Sources say that Angell knew what she was getting herself into when she moved in with Chapman. She was aware that the situation was only temporary. However, fans thought differently after Chapman and Angell made an appearance on the Dr. Oz Show where she spoke about replacing Beth’s clothes with her own in Chapman’s closet. The couple also revealed that one of the main reasons for Angell swooping in for the rescue is because Chapman was having suicidal thoughts. If you watched the show you know that Duane and Beth loved each other quite fiercely.
Now that Chapman is starting to adjust to life without Beth he wants to start getting back into a normal routine and take charge of his life again. this is why Angell has so readily moved out. Chapman’s suicidal thoughts have subsided, but sources claim that while Angell has moved out, she has no intention of leaving Colorado just yet. She wants to stick around just in case Chapman still needs her support. We can assume baby Lyssa is very happy about this transition.
