Are Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer Rekindling an Old Flame in 2020?

Jennifer Aniston seems to be keeping her friends close and possibly her exes closer. News about her and John Mayer are going round after the two were spotted leaving The Sunset Tower Hotel moments apart.
Jennifer and John met at Oscar’s party and dated between 2008 and 2009. They will possibly be meeting again at the 2020 Academy Awards scheduled for February 10. Details concerning if the two linked up after leaving the restaurant are still unclear, although they had agreed to remain friends after the split.

According to reports, John decided to break up with his ex-wife, and she even called him out for it. John carried a playboy reputation, and they had an 8-year age difference, which made people foresee no future between them. He probably was aware he would bump into her at the hotel, given that Jennifer’s hook with Chicken Salad is well known.
At the SAG Awards, Aniston embraced with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt. The two had been getting closer, although they claimed only to share a friendship.

As Page Six reports, the encounter of Aniston and Mayer at the hotel was not a coincidence. John Mayer had allegedly had dinner with a friend, Andy Cohen, at San Vicente before heading to Sunset Hotel to meet her. Aniston was in the company of Amanda Anka, The Morning Show’s Producer, and they all shared dessert.
However, the whole thing was not a romantic meeting, as the two had remained friends since their split. They even discussed Aniston’s 51st birthday of February 11.

The year seems to be taking the right flow for her, having started with winning a SAG award. She received the award which marked her first in more than 20 years. The award placed her on the headlines and luckily for the best reason.
However, the media may not have noted more about the SAG win as her run-in with Brad Pitt. The two ended their marriage 15 years ago, and their bumping into each other and even embracing does not imply they are getting back together.

Mayer and Aniston may have managed to break up and keep close with neither of them badmouthing the other, although it’s evident they are unlucky with love. After the split, he dated a couple of other celebrities including Katy Perry, whom he dated for four years, Cameron Diaz, and Taylor Swift.
Aniston’s history, on the other hand, shows she has other exes including the well-known Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux. She ended her marriage with the actor, Justin, in 2017, and has again remained friends with him.
