One year ago, singer and pop icon Ariana Grande released her five-time Grammy-nominated album "Thank U, Next." The album came out after a time of hardship for the "7 Rings" singer. Her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller passed away (something his fans partially blamed her for) and she broke up with her then-boyfriend Pete Davidson.

But, that didn't stop the singer from coming out with one of her best albums with "Thank U, Next." Now, Ariana Grande is celebrating that release with her fans.

In an old Instagram post Ariana said, "holy shit. so incredibly grateful 🌫🌬☁️ thank you so much listening and for loving something that was quite hard (but also v fun at times 🥂) to make.... thank you for showing me that i’m not alone in the events that have caused me pain and that it’s okay to share and open up sometimes. i appreciate you all so much and am endlessly grateful for the consistent love and support you’ve shown me and this project. i love youuuuuuu. thank you."

Now, Ariana is celebrating with a similar post on Instagram. She writes, "happy birthday thank u next making this project with so many dear friends quite literally saved my life and gave me the courage to be vulnerable and be honest with people. thank u for making me feel heard, safe and incredibly human. it is nice (and so healing) to know that i don’t have to hide behind a weird, polished pop star facade and that i’m able to connect with so many people over my truths and pain."

She continued in that same Instagram post by saying, "i know that should have clicked for me sooner but it didn’t and i want to thank u for showing me first hand that it is okay. all of it. i have been writing and creating a lot lately and it feels nice. i am in no rush to pop anything out of the oven yet !! but i do look forward to this new chapter and sharing more stories / life with u. :) sending a tremendous, warm hug."

Ariana has been working on a lot of new stuff, even if she says she isn't in any rush. The "Don't Call Me Angel" singer will also be on an episode of the show Kidding.

We are just thankful that Ariana Grande is feeling better and working on new projects. Let's just hope that the next project that she comes out with is just as good as her fifth studio album "Thank U, Next." Only time will tell what we will get.
