Kendall Jenner managed to drive Instagram wild this week, appearing in nothing but a monokini and a hat as she posed outdoors and clinging onto a tree. The 24-year-old supermodel was in promo mode over on the Kendall + Kylie Instagram account – the clothing line is co-owned by Kendall and 22-year-old sister Kylie Jenner.
While engagement on the Kendall + Kylie account isn’t remotely close to what’s seen over on Kendall’s own Instagram, the page does have its followers.
They definitely seemed to have noticed the clothing label’s latest update.
The photo showed Kendall flaunting her impossibly-slender frame as she modeled a stylish monokini from Kendall + Kylie. The cut-out bathing suit was navy blue with a white bikini top panel, also featuring an edgy one-shouldered finish, plus a high-waisted design.
Kendall posed with her super-long legs and curvy hips on show, using both hands to hold onto tree branches as she stood amid grass and background shrubbery. The Adidas spokesperson also wore a beige straw hat with her face staying out of the sun.
A caption from the brand recalled warmer months: “Daydreaming about summer,” it read.
The update has received some decent engagement. Likes and comments quickly poured in, with the update itself clocking over 81,000 likes in under 24 hours. While Kendall can easily rake in that amount of likes in seconds over on her own social media, it’s worth remembering that the Kendall + Kylie account has 5.6 million followers – Kendall has 122 million.
“Wow,” one fan wrote.
“Daydreaming about you,” another said, appearing to have noted the caption.
“Damnnn ???” was another comment.
Meanwhile, other fans simply left long string of fire, heart, or alien emoji.
Kardashian-Jenner popularity can be a take it or leave it deal. The world’s most famous reality family might come with die-hard fans, but for many, the ostentatious lifestyle and in-your-face wealth is a source of criticism.
Kendall has addressed the not-so-popular aspect of being a KarJenner.
“It’s almost, like, trendy to hate on my family. It’s not so much that people actually believe that we suck, but it became a thing: If you hate on us, it’s cool or something,” Kendall told Vogue in 2018.
Kendall has made headlines recently for announcing she is likely to deliver a joint makeup collaboration with younger sister Kylie. Kylie Cosmetics has already collaborated with Kim and Khloe Kardashian – the 2015-founded brand that’s earned Kylie a $1 billion net worth will now have a new target audience – Kendall.
“We’re really going big because I’m her full blood,” Kendall told Ellen DeGeneres.
The model also suggested that she’s been held back from bringing out a makeup line on account of her past cosmetics contracts – likely Kendall’s partnership with beauty giant Estee Lauder.
