Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is opened up about a conversation she had with her estranged husband Joe prior to their separation during Wednesday night’s episode of season 10.
“Today, Joe said the craziest sh*t to me,” Teresa told her brother, Joe Gorga, according to a report shared by Pop Culture on February 6. “He said to me, ‘I just want you to know, I feel nothing for you.’ He told me, ‘Go find someone else. I won’t even be mad.'”
After admitting to her brother that her husband’s feelings for her shifted during the years they spent apart as they each served time behind bars for bank and wire fraud charges, Teresa said she didn’t want her children, including daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, to be exposed to bickering and fighting between her and Joe.
Teresa and Joe separated at the end of last year after just over 20 years of marriage and Joe has been living in Italy ever since.
After hearing what Teresa had to say about Joe’s feelings towards her, he admitted to being concerned about their future.
“You want to know the truth? I never really thought you guys had a good relationship. I just didn’t see him treating you the way you should have been treated,” he said. “I’m not getting involved in your marriage ever. I’m just telling you now because you’re in this situation. You gotta get happy in life. I don’t know what you’re doing.”
Teresa’s brother went on to say that when it came to her husband, Joe Giudice is “arrogant” and “rough,” which may not be what Teresa needs.
“He doesn’t know how to open up and be a man,” Joe Gorga said to the camera in a cast confessional. “You know what a man is? When he can look at you and say, ‘I love you. You’re amazing. You’re beautiful.’ That’s a f**king man.'”
Joe Gorga is married to Teresa’s longtime co-star, Melissa Gorga.
In December, after Teresa and her daughters visited Joe in Italy for several days, People magazine announced they were parting ways.
“They discussed their future when Teresa and the girls went to Italy in early November and they agreed that each had to move on. They are doing so amicably and very slowly,” the source said.
Since their split, Teresa and Joe have been co-parenting their children from different continents and have expressed their dedication to remaining friendly with one another.
