Fans of The Real Housewives of New York City will soon be getting their first look at the trailer for the series’ upcoming 12th season.
According to a February 6 report from The Cheat Sheet, Real Housewives creator Andy Cohen recently confirmed that the preview clip is ready, although he didn’t share a specific date regarding when it will be released.
The outlet then teased that season 12 of the Bravo reality series will be much different than past seasons due to the exit of Bethenny Frankel.
Just as the returning members of The Real Housewives of New York City cast, including Ramona Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Tinsley Mortimer reunited for filming on the 12th season, Frankel confirmed she would not be appearing on the new episodes.
Prior to her exit from the series, Frankel had starred in a full-time role for eight of its 11 seasons and also starred in her own Bravo spinoff, Bethenny Ever After, with her now ex-husband Jason Hoppy.
Throughout the past couple of weeks, de Lesseps has been sharing some suspicious posts with her audience on Instagram, including a photo of her cast pic for a past season of The Real Housewives of New York City and a photo of her and her former boyfriend, Jacques Azoulay.
In the caption of her first photo, de Lesseps included a winking emoji and in the caption of her second, she told her fans and followers they would be seeing Azoulay “soon.”
Following a couple of years of on-and-off dating, Mortimer announced in November of last year that her boyfriend, Scott Kluth, proposed to her at the Chicago Water Tower as a group of carolers sang Christmas songs in the background.
While rumors swirled in regard to Mortimer quitting her role on the show immediately after the engagement, she told People magazine in December that she had not left he show and was planning to fulfill her duties for season 12 with Bravo before moving to Chicago to be with her husband.
Although Mortimer hasn’t yet announced that she will be leaving The Real Housewives of New York City for good, it seems highly unlikely that she will continue to appear on the show while living with her soon-to-be husband, Kluth, in Chicago.
That said, if she does quit the show, it won’t be due to any ultimatum from Kluth.
“Any reports saying that I had to decide between Scott or the show are 100 percent untrue. We are enjoying this incredibly happy time in our lives,” she told People.
