When there's a break-up in any relationship there's a good chance that there's a winning side to the breakup and a losing side to the ordeal. Exhibit A, could very well be Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez's breakup. She went on to resume her long-lost romance with Ben Affleck. Alex has had a bit of a tougher time getting back on his feet. At least in the love department. In Tom Brady's breakup from the New England Patriots, there's no question Tom Brady's been on the winning side. Now he's using his appearance in a new Hertz commercial to rub it in!

The new Hertz rental cars ad campaign that Tom Brady is featured in includes a Q&A video with the quarterback. These sessions in modern ad campaigns are meant to try and give people the feeling that Brady or who ever the star of the commercial is, is speaking from the heart. In an odd turn of events Tom Brady is taking this opportunity to throw some shade on his former team.

Even well into his 40s the quarterback is sharing some "life lessons" that he's learned since being in Tampa Bay. Particularly a lesson about team work. Seriously, this man's learning about team work after around 30 years of playing football at different levels? Maybe that's because the lessons in New England centered around deflating footballs and how to use video surveillance cameras. Any way, Brady mentioned this about what he learned in Tampa Bay,

"When I went to Tampa it really showed me that when you take a team approach, and you approach challenges with an open mind, and you get a lot of things done,"

After sharing his thoughts about teamwork and how he'd learned that in Tampa, Brady confessed that the transition from the Boston area to Tampa wasn't necessarily an easy one. After all, he'd been living in the Boston area for the better part of 20 years. Still, the confession was kind of spun to try and tap into how the brand can help people acclimate to new areas by renting them a car. So, maybe he didn't have such a hard time setting up in Tampa, still he mentioned,

"And it took a while to get settled there in a new city … looking back it was an incredible lesson for me in my life and there's way more than one way to win football games and I had so much fun."

The video closes out with Tom being asked who his ideal road trip partner might be. At first he gives the safe answer saying that his ideal road trip partner would be his wife Giselle. While then going on to admit that maybe if he'd be hooked up to a lie detector test the real answer would be that Gronk's his ideal road trip partner. The response is kind of cheesy, but it is an ad campaign after all! However, Tom's making an effort to let people know he's way over New England.
