Duane Chapman, also known as the infamous 'Dog The Bounty Hunter' recently posted a photo of himself and his late wife, Beth to his Instagram account. It was accompanied by the caption, "I sure miss you today !!" This comes amid a rumored blossoming romance between Chapman and Moon Angell, a close family friend.

The rumors began to fly when the two posted a selfie of the two earlier this year. But that was all it was, was a selfie of them together. It seems that Dog is steadfastly maintaining the statement he told Beth before she died, that he would not get remarried.

Chapman appeared with Moon, who is a longtime family friend of both Dog's and Beth's., on the Dr. Oz show yesterday. She has known the family for over 20 years, working as their personal assistant. She was hired in 2008 and her responsibilities included managing budgets, overseeing their contracts, and even helping out with childcare.

He maintained that there is absolutely nothing romantic about their relationship and that it is strictly platonic. In order to set the record completely straight, he asked Moon if she would marry him during the interview.

A completely shocked Angell looked at Dog and said, "What? No, we're friends Duane. I love you as a friend." Chapman said that he already knew that, but wanted "everyone else to know." With the rumors spinning around, he wanted to let the world know that there was only one woman for him, and that was his late wife, Beth.

He calls Angell Moon his "dearest friend." Moon went on to say “I think he’s an amazing human being, but I’ve known him before he was famous. To me, he will always be my best friend. I don’t see myself thinking past that.”

Dog's late wife, Beth, starred alongside her husband as a bounty hunter. The latest iteration of their show, Dog's Most Wanted, is centered around Dog, who retired from bounty hunting and is now hunting down fugitives instead of those who have jumped bail. The first season largely focuses on Beth's throat cancer diagnosis.

Sadly, Beth would never get to see the show's premiere, as she passed away on June 26, 2019, just less than three months shy of the show's premiere on September 4th.

On Oz's show, Chapman admitted to having a very hard time after his wife's death. He was even candid about experiencing suicidal thoughts during the entire grieving process. He said, "Well, I couldn’t stop crying, I’m Apache, I wasn’t going to commit suicide with a gun or something. I was going to take a lot of pills because she left — Beth left all her big pills there. So I thought, I just need one drink a water." He does credit Angell with helping him through that trying time in his life.

Chapman just finished celebrating his 67th birthday on February 2nd. As of right now, he has no plans of dating just yet. Regarding the subject, he said, "Not that I have, but you know, it’s not worth it, I don’t want to tell the whole story about my mom, my dad and my life and all that stuff again to a new person. Not yet." It is not yet known whether the second season of Dog's Most Wanted will be forthcoming.
