From the very start of the tenth season of the Lifetime show, Married at First Sight, fans have been nervous about Zach Justice being too shallow to develop a long-term marriage with Mindy Shiben. The 34-year-old Justice has confirmed suspicions thoughts from fans toward the 32-year-old Shiben.
The last two years have been so hard for Shiben, dealing with both a miscarriage and the death of her sister. She was ready to settle down, find a good husband.

While Shiben is a figure skating coach, Justice is a fitness trainer and a fitness model. Many fans found him to be too cocky, too much of a ladies man to settle down into anything serious with Shiben.
On the episode called Trouble in Paradise, which aired on January 29th, fans got exactly what they were dreading about their fresh marriage. He both straight out admits that he felt nothing for her during their first kiss. He also noted that he really isn’t attracted to his wife.
My whole 🌍! Literally the most kind-hearted, genuine, and caring souls anyone could ask for. We never tell each other exactly what we want to hear, but we have each other’s back. Thank you for being my rocks, and… https://t.co/3xubvHWhG0

Outside the couple’s honeymoon suite, Shiben films her emotional response to all of this, saying, “He told me, ‘I’m not building any kind of attraction to you, and what do you want me to do about that?’”
“I tell him, ‘Well, I guess this isn’t gonna work out,’”
Only three days into their marriage, the couple is forced to have an unpleasant conversation about where to go from her. When considering all that her husband relayed to her, she says to him, “I was like, shaking, just thinking I made a big mistake.”
Justice goes on to admit that he was too “brutally honest in the wrong way too early”. This still doesn’t seem right to us though. Something is…off.
The couple came to an agreement that they would continue to stay married, continue to work on their severely handicapped beginning.
After the couple finishes up their conversation, Shiben meets with the other honeymooning wives to discuss what’s happening in her tumultuous relationship. In reference to why things are so wonky, she says, “F*ck my life right now.”

She continues, “He did tell me, ‘I’m used to the people I date, me being attracted to them right away, so this is weird for me.’ I took that as, okay, he’s not attracted to me.”
The new wives chime in, forcing Shiben to consider Justice’s past as a model. He may be too wound up in his own looks to be able to accept another for being a beautiful person too. Shiben says,
“My husband is definitely a hottie, and yes, I’m attracted to him, but chemistry is so much more than that,”.
