In March of 2019, Alex Rodriguez proposed to 2020 Super Bowl LIV performer, Jennifer Lopez. Their marriage will mark marriage number four for Lopez.
The majority of her marriages didn’t last very long at all, less than a year. In 1997 she married Ojani Noa, a Cuban waiter. Then in 1998 they were divorced.
In 2001 she tied the knot with Cris Judd, a backup dancer. Only nine months later they split, their divorce finally finalized in 2003. Her longest relationship comes in 2011.
Lopez and Marc Anthony wed in 2004, and during their marriage, Lopez gave birth to twins, Emme and Max. They were married for eight long years, but it took two more years for their divorce to be finalized.
J. Lo rushed into relationships with the wrong people, simply because she didn’t want to be alone. She slept with her sisters, in the same bed, all while growing up, and she was afraid to be alone. In an interview with People, Lopez gives us the details.
Shoutout to the real heroes of the night. We wouldn’t be down here with the cameras on us, if it weren’t for the men and women above who fight for our freedoms every single day. Thank you to everyone in our military for what you do for all of us. #SAGAwards ❤️ pic.twitter.com/2wdyMOOoRa

She says, “I did get into relationships, sometimes the wrong ones for the wrong reasons because I didn’t like being alone,”
“Now that (fear) is gone and I’m okay on my own. That was a big journey for me.”
Lopez and Judd were only engaged for a month before they got married back in 2001. She considers this, telling People, “You fall in love when you’re younger, make impulsive decisions—and I have certainly been guilty of that and not thinking the whole thing through,”
Jen, it doesn’t take a trophy, medal, or plaque to identify a true champion.

After going through treatment to move forward with her loving herself for who she is, she proudly says to People,
“When I really figured out you don’t need anybody to complete you and you can be happy on your own, the shift happened (and) all of sudden I wasn’t alone. You do actually find that person,”
When receiving an award at Palm Springs Film Festival, she comments about her dear fiancé, thanking him for sticking by her side, being the rock she needs.
“My partner in life, my love, Alex Rodriguez… he makes me feel like a winner every single day, so win. Winning! I love you.”
In reference to Lopez’s Super Bowl LIV performance, he tells Entertainment Weekly, “It’s gonna be an unbelievable show, I was just in the building a couple of days ago, the energy, the magic,”
And finishes with, “I mean, you can just feel the importance and the magnitude of the game, but what’s really great is you’re gonna have Shakira, and obviously you’re going to have Jennifer, and there’s so many surprises that you’re going to be blown away by.”
