Demi's Instagram update was a repost of a tweet dating back to February 7, 2010.

The words saw this singer predict that one day, she would be delivering the National Anthem in front of America at the Super Bowl – Demi just didn't know when (or if the dream would come true).

"One day, I'm gonna sing the national anthem at a super bowl. Onnnee dayyy....." the tweet read.

Demi then captioned it with appropriate words.

"Stealing this from @scooterbraun. Dreams really do come true y’all. 🙏🏼🙌🏼💗," she wrote.

Demi has been updating her Instagram from Miami ahead of the big night. Shortly before her throwback tweet, the singer posted a snap of herself in a bathrobe, thanking those putting her up.

"Reposting my thanks to @nobumiamibeach in my Nobu robe that I absolutely need for home. The complimentary stay was clutch and I’m v grateful! We had an amazing stay. Nobu beds and Nobu ROOM SERVICE = everything 🙌🏼🍣," she wrote.

Admitted To Nerves Ahead Of The Big Night

Demi has revealed that she's been a bundle of nerves ahead of her appearance – last year's Super Bowl was watched by over 98 million Americans.

Speaking to Andy Cohen on SiriusXM's Radio Andy at the end of last week, Demi aired her thoughts, referring first to the emotional song she performed at the Grammys.

"I've spent more time with that song, 'Anyone.' I've spent more time listening to it. I crafted it," she began.

"So when you put your heart and soul into something, it takes on a different life of its own. Whereas the national anthem, if I mess up, everyone goes after you if you do," Demi added.

Scared Of Messing Up The Words

Demi then revealed that she'll be steering clear of browsing the social media response to her National Anthem performance.

"I'm not going to read the comments, so it won't matter," she continued, adding:

"But it's just one of those things where it's like -- there's so much pressure on the national anthem. When it's my song, if I mess up a lyric, nobody would've known because it wasn't out yet."

Viewers are proving equally pumped for the Super Bowl Halftime Show which will see Jennifer Lopez and Shakira perform.
