Lopez is now engaged to former baseball player Alex Rodriguez, but the “Jenny From The Block” singer comes with a long relationship history and multiple marriages behind her.
J Lo has been married three times – and she’ll be walking down the aisle for the fourth time with A-Rod.
Here’s the low-down on J Lo’s marital history.
Jennifer’s first marriage was before the current Millenium. The “Hustlers” actress tied the knot with Cuban waiter Ojani Noa back in 1997, with the marriage reportedly getting ugly in little time.
Lopez is reported to have filed a lawsuit against Noa following the couple’s 1998 divorce as the Cuban reportedly threatened to pen a reveal-all book on the couple’s marriage.
Meanwhile, Jennifer has said that her first two marriages “don’t count” because they were so brief.
“I’ve been married three times: once was nine months and once was 11 months, so I don’t really count those,” the star told Today.
Jennifer walked down the aisle for the second time in 2001 when she married backup dancer Cris Judd. Cris appeared in J Lo’s iconic “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” music video.
The two wed in September 2001, but pressures of being in the public eye saw the marriage fall apart, with Jen and Cris calling it quits after just nine months.
In 2019, Judd revealed that he has no contact with his ex-wife.
‘Man, I’m so far removed from her. I have, gosh, you know, I just wish her the best.’
Judd added that he doesn’t watch any of J Lo’s movies, either: “I mean, you know, not really. I mean, to be honest, uh, no,” he said when asked.
J Lo is perhaps best known for her 10-year marriage to singer Marc Anthony. The two are parents to twins named Max and Emme – Emme is set to perform alongside her mom at the Pepsi Half Time Show.
Jen and Marc married in a 2004 Beverly Hills wedding, welcoming their kids in 2008. Their 2011 split came amid rumors of infidelity – these were denied by Anthony.
Jen and Marc do, however, remain in contact as they co-parent their twins.
Jennifer has also made headlines for the high-profile relationships that didn’t end in marriage. The “American Idol” judge dated Wesley Snipes in 1995, making bigger headlines for her 1999-2001 relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“Bennifer” was the nickname allocated to Jen and actor Ben Affleck as they dated from 2002-2004.
In 2019, A-Rod proposed to Jen after two years of dating. The romantic beach proposal came with a $5 million engagement ring, a “yes” answer, and a huge Instagram response.
Jennifer is 50 while A-Rod is 44.
