Harry Styles has had a flourishing career since One Direction was disbanded. He has gone on to create two solo albums, host an episode and perform as a musical guest on 'SNL' and almost performed in the Super Bowl Pre-Show. The Pre-Show performance was cancelled just moments before Harry was set to perform. According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, fans were already at the venue waiting for Syles, Lizzo and Mark Ronson to take the stage when the Miami Fire Department ordered for the concert to be cancelled.

There were thunderstorms in the area making it dangerous for the performers to go on. Pepsi tweeted later that night explaining why the concert was canceled so suddenly.

"As ordered by the Miami Fire Dept, Planet Pepsi Zero Sugar had to, unfortunately, be canceled due to extreme weather. This was a mandatory evacuation in Miami across special event venues. We are focused on ensuring everyone is safely evacuated. We deeply apologize to the fans,” Pepsi tweeted regarding the issue and apologizing to fans.

“For all attendees of tonight’s Planet Pepsi Zero Sugar Party, we understand this is disappointing, and want to do what we can to make this right. We are offering a full refund for tonight’s show and for your rideshare from the venue. Details coming soon,” Pepsi added.

“To all attendees at the Pepsi Planet Zero Sugar Party, we have notified Ticketmaster and all refunds will be automatically issued to the method of payment used to make your purchase," the account continued.

"We will also cover ride share costs from the show. Those details are on the way.”

Pepsi hasn't tweeted any updates since. Harry Styles addressed his fans directly the next day. He spent his birthday explaining what he was told of the incident.

“To those of you here in Miami, I was told there’s a severe storm on the way. The fire department would not let us do the show under any circumstances," Harry Styles tweeted to his fans on February 1st, 2020.

Please stay safe. I’m so disappointed, and I’m sorry. I love you all. H,” he continued.

"It’s okay, Harry! Safety comes first for you, and your crew, and of course all the fans. Thank you for coming to Miami and happy birthday ❤️ Hope you stay safe and warm! We love you," one fan page wrote.

"I hope you’re safe and you are not sad that you cannot celebrate your birthday with us! Take care and enjoy your birthday. We love you Harry x," another tweeted.
