Model Iskra Lawrence has been experiencing her pregnancy journey alongside her fans as the star shares just about everything that has been going on in her life — the good and the bad.
Unfortunately, Iskra is revealing that she recently lost two very important people in her life, and while exposing her raw emotional state she’s also revealing some sultry new pictures that highlight her changing body.
The 29-year-old British model took to Instagram on Friday with some bad personal news that she has been suffering through.
“I had no idea I’d lose my honorary grandad this week and last month my friend. Navigating grief during pregnancy was unexpected and challenging. Im highly aware my baby feels everything I feel,” Iskra explained in her caption.
As the model is 7 months pregnant, she also had a realization that those she has lost will not get to meet her baby.
“It breaks my heart knowing that neither of these two magical souls will meet my child.
But I’ll be able to tell my baby all about these powerful humans who had such a huge impact on my life and the way I view the world.”
The Instagram influencer also revealed two new photos, which showed off her ever-growing baby bump. Laying on her side whilst completely nude, Iskra appears to be fully embracing her physical changes and is making sure to enjoy this magical moment in her life.
In reflecting on the recent deaths she endured, and what awaits her future, Iskra has decided how she will honor the lost loves.
“I can treasure them and their lives. Their legacies will live forever and be passed down through my child.”
Iskra, who is a body-positive role model, has been very open about her struggles with body image over the years. Now that she’s in a healthier state of mind and perspective, Iskra uses her experience to help others who may be having issues.
“I wanted to share my perspective as everyone’s journey is unique, my body is changing so much in totally new ways – it’s fascinating.
As someone whose experienced body dysmorphia and disordered eating I wanted to talk from a recovery point of view and hopefully help you feel more comfortable on this journey too.”
