Kim Kardashian has caused a mini storm on Twitter – seemingly, by revealing an unusual McDonald’s combo. The 39-year-old reality star and makeup mogul divulged what she eats at the fast-food giant ahead of the 2020 Super Bowl – Kim joins a list of other celebrities whose names feature alongside their order as part of an ad for McDonald’s Super Bowl commercial.
The video mentioned the orders from the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, Magic Johnson, and Kim’s husband Kanye West. Kim’s order was shown on a tray: a 6-piece McNuggets, small cheeseburger, fries, vanilla shake, and apple pie were all seen, alongside a packet of honey.
Here’s what’s going down on Twitter.
Kim took to Twitter to talk about her McDonald’s preferences.
“WHATTT? Chicken nuggets dipped in honey is the ONLY way to eat them!” she tweeted.
While Kim’s post received over 34,000 likes in under 24 hours, it did bring in a wave of comments – fans seemingly either agreed with the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star or, it would appear, very much disagreed.
“You mean honey mustard right Kim? … please tell me it’s Honey Mustard ?,” one fan replied.
“Delete this,” another user said.
Meanwhile, another user noted that this “escalated quickly.”
Fans did offer their own preferences – honey mustard as dipping sauce was a popular one, but many users did seem baffled by the star’s choice.
“Say that ONE more time,” a fan wrote.
As People reports, Kim didn’t just share what she loves. She also shared what she hates – honey mustard, it would seem.
The video posted by McDonald’s also outlined husband Kanye West’s order – the 42-year-old is a known McDonald’s lover.
Kanye’s order incudes 6-piece nuggets (like his wife), tangy BBQ sauce, small fries, and a chocolate McFlurry.
Kim has made her cheat day visits to the burger chain a bit of a thing. Late-night runs for ice-cream are documented over on the star’s Instagram, with Kim’s 2018 Japan trip also seeing her hit up a McDonald’s and walk away photographed with fries.
Kim admitted to having overdone the food at the end of last year. November 2019 saw the star take to social media with a confession about her weight.
“Guys we’re doing a night workout before my dinner which I never do … but I figure we have to get into it at some point. Sometimes we fall off and sometimes we really gotta get it together, this is one of my falling off times where I am up, I think 18 lbs up from what I was a year and a half ago, so to feel good I just need to get a really good goal weight, so that means working out at all costs,” she told her followers.
Kim’s tweet also brought in replies that saw users confused – many fans assumed that Kim is now completely plant-based.
This likely pertains to Kim’s 2019 announcement that she was opting out of meat. However, Kim stated that she is only plant-based at home.
McDonald’s “Famous Orders” video also revealed favorites from “Stranger Things” actress Millie Bobby Brown and country singer and husband to Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban.
Kim herself has promoted burgers in the past. Back in the day, the star appeared in commercials for Carl’s Jr.
