Halle Berry stayed true to her pattern of honoring Instagram’s #FitnessFriday this week. The “Catwoman” actress is a regular when it comes to getting active for the weekly hashtag, doing just this as fans geared up for the weekend.
Halle’s Friday photo may not have been a full-length one, but it served as a reminder that at 53, Halle is looking stronger than ever. The snap (and its empowering caption) has also been wowing Halle’s followers ever since it went live.

Halle’s photo showed her performing a plank movement and showcasing her muscles in a loose blue tank top with mesh panel details. The star’s gym-honed arms were making a stand, although Halle seemed out to let fans know that aggressive crunches aren’t necessary to get into shape.
The star spoke of the “beauty of stillness” in her caption, opening by saying that “sometimes just holding a pose is an equally effective way to build strength, stamina and to get that heart rate up.”
Halle also mentioned close friend and personal trainer Peter Lee Thomas – Peter regularly appears in workout tutorials over on the actress’ Instagram stories.
“Today, @peterleethomas will be demonstrating some isometric core exercises – NO crunches necessary. Let’s remain still, re-connect with ourselves and keep those dream abs in ✅ – check stories for more and Happy Friday!” she added.
Halle is arguably in the best shape of her life. The star’s upcoming MMA “Bruised” movie may have seen her photographed with a bruised and swollen eye, but the injury sustained during a fight scene was just a minor setback.
Halle’s post quickly gained likes and comments – the former saw the update rack up over 18,000 likes in just 55 minutes.
As to the fans, they were loving everything about the post, from how informative the caption was, to how stunning Halle looked.
“So lovely to see a photo showing that Beautiful perfect Face,” one fan wrote.
“Wow fitness friday,” another said.
“I can hold out for 3 minutes, and then I start to vibrate with my whole body,” one user admitted.
“So this week, I’m sharing some of the snacks I currently have stocked as well as recipe for my No. 1, never fails, go-to snack – home made kale chips! You can keep them simple or add all kinds of fun spicy cheesy tasty flavors depending on your mood,” she wrote.
“I personally love savory snacks with a little more crunch, but today I’ve included a low-sugar chocolate snack for my queens and kings with a sweet tooth,” Halle added.
