Jana Duggar raises some eyebrows after a recent Instagram post. She posts a photo, which wraps up her trip to Las Vegas with her longtime friend, Laura DeMasie. Duggar turned 30 years-old, but is she still under the bar of rules her parents have set before her?
A star of Counting On, her life is in public eye, which possibly stirs some controversy. You may think Jana is off to Sin City to take part in the extravagant lifestyle, gambling and wants of the flesh, but she’s really not.
She was there just to check out some new trends in the home décor and design world. The girls were simply checking out the Las Vegas Market, and knowing her buddy, Laura, works for a wholesaler in the décor industry, this makes sense.
On Instagram, Jana writes, “Such a pleasure seeing gorgeous product designs by artisans from around the world!”
“I still have a lot to learn but I am so blessed to have met and learned from so many designers and inspirational entrepreneurs this week!”
After completely redesigning her parents bedroom, Jana is working now with her siblings on renovating an old school building. Some fans are going as far as calling her the next ‘Joanna Gaines”, who went from putting a show together with her husband, Chip Gaines, to running her own design and décor company, Magnolia.
At this rate, she may even end up with her own show, though there have been no reports on this. If this does flourish into her own show, what should she call it?
Many fans comment on her update photo on Instagram, coming at her with concern. One fan comments, “Did you have an accountability partner with you?”
Another, “Im surprised you’re allowed to go to ‘sin city'”, and another leaving a simple, “The city of sin”
One comment reads, “What you do in party city like Las Vegas [?]”
But not all comments are negative. Many show both support and encouragement. For example, one commenter says, “Would love to hear more info on your business ventures Jana. You are so talented.”
“Yes Jana! Go for your dreams, keep making connections and working hard. You’ve always had a natural charm and gracefulness about you. ✌?”, writes another.
This commenter appreciates her dream, “Jana, it is so nice to see you grow on your own dream. Everything you been decorating is so nice and very country yet modern feeling. Congratulations.”
In defense of Las Vegas, as a city, a fan comments, “you are here in our city!People call it Sin City but we call it the city of Grace!! because God says that were there is abundance of sin there is a greater abundance of grace!?”
