What seems like the most highly-anticipated Kardashian–Jenner collaborative effort to date is reportedly in the works, with Kendall Jenner teasing to fans that she will indeed finally be partnering up with mogul little sister Kylie to release a collaborative line of cosmetics under the Kylie Cosmetics moniker.
This mega-announcement has fans buzzing over what the sisters capsule collection could consist of, hoping for a mix of Kendall’s unique stylistic choices and makeup looks and Kylie’s smart packaging, business sense, and taste.
All of the other Kardashian sisters have previously collaborated with the young makeup mogul on intrinsic collections at one point or another, but this marks the first effort between the two Jenner sisters to put out a line of product.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the eldest Jenner sister confirmed the forthcoming line with notable excitement.
“And you’re doing a makeup collab with Kylie as well, which is very cool,” DeGeneres commented to the model,” which Kendall said was true, stating happily, “Yes, we’re very excited about it.”
“We’ve actually not said anything, that we’re doing it, yet,” Jenner added, prompting DeGeneres to respond excitedly with, “Oh this is an announcement?”
The model said yes and elaborated further by adding, “We haven’t done one yet. I’m the last sister or the last family member I think. I had a contract before with another makeup company, so now I’m able to do it.”
Kendall was previously the face of Estee Lauder Cosmetics, as well as representing Proactiv Acne Medication for years.
Kendall further commented that the famous sisters decided they wanted to be extra “big” about this particular collaborative effort, mentioning, “I feel like we’re really going big because I’m her full blood. We’re taking it seriously.”
Kendall and Kylie are the only children birthed of the union between Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner. Kris previously gave birth to daughters Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian when she was still with ex-husband Robert Kardashian, who passed away in 2003 from a case of esophageal cancer.
No specific products have been confirmed yet by either of the Jenner sisters, but fans can expect the usual circulation of Jenner-Kardashian co-branded cosmetics but with the older Jenner’s unique twist to them.
Kylie recently made cosmetic news as well for announcing another collaborative effort, this time with her daughter, Stormi Webster, who she shares with rapper Travis Scott. The aptly named ‘Stormi Collection’ releases on her webstore and through affiliated businesses in two days, so fans who can’t wait for the announcement between the sisters can scoop up the mother-daughter collection very soon.
