It’s 2020, you would think that people would stop throwing shade on Twitter and Instagram, but those days are not behind us.
Lil Nas X brought his A-game to the Grammys this past week. He tore up the Red Carpet in a hot pink Versace suit, looking like a total cowboy.
We think he looked stunning, but the haters on the internet had other comments on the matter.
A rapper from Atlanta named Pastor Troy took to Instagram to bully Lil Nas X (and others) about his Grammys outfit.
Pastor Troy shared all of his thoughts on Instagram on January 29th, and he didn’t hold back.
When it came to the Grammys, there was one look that just didn’t sit right with him.
Pastor Troy took specific issue with Lil Nas X’s appearance on the Red Carpet. He posted on Instagram (in a post that’s since been deleted) that members of the LGBTQ+ community “love to push this sh*t on our kids.”
In the caption, he also said, “Welp, Guess I won’t be winning a GRAMMY…If this what I gotta wear. He sees it… their agenda to take the masculinity from Men, Black Men Especially. Some may say, ‘He Making Money!!’ Rupaul do too, but I ain’t bumping his CD!!! Integrity is Priceless.”
Pastor Troy didn’t stop there. He continued with, “Y’all Better open that 3rd Eye and let your Sons Know What Is Real…Or They A** Gone Be Headed Down That Old Town Road Foreal!!”
Pastor Troy has a lot of feelings on the matter. After his post went up, it became a trending topic on Twitter.
Do you know who’s on Twitter? Lil Nas X, and of course, he saw the post right away. Being the amazing person that he is, he didn’t start any additional drama.
Of course, Lil Nas X handled the entire situation like the boss he is. When he saw a tweet on twitter by @yoyotrav that said, “Pastor Troy went on a long, homophobic rant & somehow convinced himself that it’s the reason why he doesn’t have a grammy.” The user also posted a screenshot of the Instagram post that featured a shot of Lil Nas X in his Grammy outfit.
Lil Nas X responded short and sweet saying, “damn I look good in that pic on god.”

After becoming instantly famous with his hit, “Old Town Road,” Lil Nas X went to Twitter in June of 2019 to come out as gay.
In the tweet, he wrote, “some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure.”
In a follow-up tweet, he wrote, “deada** thought i made it obvious” alongside two pictures from his concert.
In other words, nothing can stop Lil Nas X, and no one cares about that one homophobic rapper from Atlanta.
