Jessica Simpson has launched a wave of comments over on her social media. The "Dukes of Hazzard" actress might be making headlines galore on account of her past alcohol and pills habits and newly-revealed childhood sexual abuse, but the 39-year-old's fans have picked up on something new.

Jessica's photo showed her posing confidently and flaunting her 100-pound post-baby weight loss. The star had opted for a Kelly shade of green, wearing a tight-fitted two-piece comprised of a flared pair of pants and a short-sleeved top.

The tailored pants were doing wonders for the mom of three's slimmed-down silhouette, with the v-neck top likewise flattering Jessica's upper half.

A caption mentioned Jimmy Kimmel alongside the star's new memoir.

"A humorous walk down memory lane with the always charming @JimmyKimmel. Catch me tonight on @jimmykimmellive ? #OpenBook #Kimmel," Jessica wrote.

Jessica's post brought in plenty of flattering comments – both over her weight loss and brave decision to go public with her history – but a predominant theme was manifesting over in the comments section.

"Scrubs?" one fan wrote.

"I thought this was a scrub collection. Jessica scrubs," another said.

"I really feel like this look was inspired by @zachbraff," a fan said, throwing out the Instagram handle of one the cast's most famous faces.

"You're like a hot triage" doctor was another comment with one fan stating that they themselves are a nurse: "I guess I thought these were scrubs," the user wrote.

"Open Book" is the star's new memoir. The work details Jessica's battle with alcohol and pills in a raw and candid way, also outlining her childhood sexual abuse – Jessica was abused by a family friend's daughter between the ages of 6 and 12.

Jessica claims it began with the abuser "tickling" her back, then entering "uncomfortable" territory.

Speaking to Hoda Kotb about the addiction that ensued as a result of the abuse, Jessica said:

"I completely didn’t recognize myself. I always had a glitter cup. It was always filled to the rim with alcohol. I just realized that I had to surrender. It was time. I had to give it up and I was ready. I’m not going to miss another day.”

Jessica then admitted to her life spiraling out of control, referring to an appearance on The Ellen Show when fans wondered if she'd been drinking.

"It was a weak moment for me, and I wasn't in the right place. I had started a spiral, and I couldn't catch up with myself and that was with alcohol," Jessica told Hoda.

Halloween 2017 saw the star start drinking at 7.30 a.m., unable to look after her two children (the star now has three).

"I honestly couldn't even tell you who got them ready. I was just dazed and confused, and I just wanted to go to sleep. I didn't take them trick-or-treating. I didn't show up for my family. I took the picture and I made the world think that I showed up," she said.

Jessica quit drinking the next day, beginning her recovery journey with a therapist.
