Following the shocking death of Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna on January 26, it appears as if the tragedy has inspired some celebs to change their ways -- and 50 Cent would be one of them.

While hundreds of stars have publicly shared their grief on social media, it was the “Many Men” rapper’s comments about Kobe’s passing that appeared to have left quite an impression on millions of his loyal fans.

In a heartwarming post on his official Instagram page, the 44-year-old displayed his vulnerable side as he reflected on his friendship with the former NBA champion, further explaining what he’ll also want to change about himself moving forward.

With an accompanying Giphy image, which sees 50 Cent - real name Curtis Jackson - and Kobe Bryant embrace one another following a basketball match, the caption read, “I feel like I have to achieve what I want in life now after this.”

The Grammy award-winning hitmaker went on to conclude his message, saying, “I have to focus, I’m not arguing with anyone anymore I’ll deal with it another way if there’s a problem.”

And it wasn’t long before fans had reacted to the post by mentioning how happy they were about 50 Cent and his revelation in wanting to better his ways, with one person sharing, “Honestly, this says so much about your character, Fifty.”

One fan, clearly moved by the tribute, added, “Wow, considering how many feuds 50 has been in over the last three years, the fact that a tragic incident can impact someone’s own ways is quite touching. I hope you stick to your word.”

Fans were clearly taken aback by 50 Cent’s comments as he remembered Kobe Bryant, and that’s mainly because of the endless feuds the rapper was involved in, having even insulted his “Power” co-star Naturi Naughton for her appearance.

In November 2019, fans felt that 50, who is an executive producer on the Starz series, had taken things too far when he posted a tweet with a side-by-side photo of Naturi and Goro from Mortal Kombat to compare their hairlines.

One unamused person wrote, "Wow...This tweet is not funny. It’s mean and mad disrespectful to Naturi. Not sure why you’d post this at all because we all KNOW you made this. Not cool. You should use your “power” to grow tf up and delete it."

Another added: "50 Cent is harassing and bullying Naturi .. and no one on @Power_STARZ has defended her or checked him. @lala @CourtneyKemp #trash."

Speaking about the incident with Page Six, Naturi said that 50 Cent took the tweet down and personally made an apology.

"He knew what he did was shady and apologized for it,” she said. “He realized it wasn’t the nicest thing to do. I accepted his apology, I’ve moved on.”

50 Cent has previously also feuded with Rotimi, Teairra Mari, and rapper Bow Wow, just to name a few. But fans will have to wait and see whether the hip hop mogul will stand by his word and change his ways.
