“Dog the Bounty Hunter” fans are still in shock after Dr. Oz shared a clip from an upcoming episode in which Duane Chapman and his rumored girlfriend Moon Angell are guests. The 30-second preview shows Chapman asking Angell to marry him.
“I am a lot happier with her around,” Dog says in reference to Angell. The clip then shows her saying, “I have lots of enemies right now.”
It then cuts to the shocking moment when Dog turns to her and asks, “Moon Angell, will you marry me?”
Some fans took to the comments section of Angell’s most recent Instagram post, which shows two cups of coffee on a kitchen counter, to ask about the proposal.
“Happy for you and @duanedogchapman on your guys soon to be wedding,” one said.
Another wrote, “R u and @duanedogchapman engaged???”
Angell’s response to both was basically the same. “he asked … make sure you watch Oz,” she replied.
So it’s still unclear if she said yes or if they’re actually engaged, but it seems pretty clear they’re trying to pump up the ratings for the episode as much as possible.
Not long after the Dr. Oz clip went live, Chapman’s daughter, Lyssa, tweeted, “I will not tweet. I willl not tweet I will not tweet. I will not tweet,” she wrote. “If you didn’t come from a healthy family, make sure a healthy family comes from you.”
She also called Angell a “con artist” in a response to a fan on Twitter.
Lyssa has never held back when it comes to Angell, and has repeatedly bashed her on social media.
“If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your step- mom died what would you do ? If you went to your mothers closet and saw she moved all her clothes and replaced them with her own, what would you do ? #ItsNotWhenOrWhyItsWho,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet earlier this month.
“You’re disgusting woman. Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a ‘friend’ to, Is the lowest scum on the planet-Which for you wasn’t that far of a step down from where you were before. God will get you MARY !!!”
Chapman addressed his rumored romance with Angell earlier this month.
“Moon has been a trustworthy and loyal friend to me for over 20 years,” he said. “She has been with my family through many ups and downs. All my children are grown and gone on their own, there’s no one left to help me! Moon is experienced. It’s just that. Who knows what my future holds, but right now I need her. There will never be another Mrs. Dog but that doesn’t mean I have to be so sad.”
