Meghan McCain is singing a new tune after leaving “The View.”

The conservative TV host exited the day-time talk show at the end of July.

McCain was often times made out to be the villain of the show, and bumped heads with her co-hosts daily!

McCain explained that a main reason for her exit was to focus on her baby daughter, Liberty.

However, since exiting she’s been more candid about life after “The View.” While visiting E!’s “Daily Pop” the former TV host said, “I definitely am having a lot more fun. It's just been nice honestly to be able to talk about something other than politics."

McCain once again opened up about her reason for leaving. "I am actually a pretty sensitive person and there are people you love to hate, but it felt like towards my last season it just became ‘We hate to hate her.’ I did feel a shift in my last season that there was no love coming from. The audience and that was a factor in why I left."

As for her thoughts on Liberty being a co-host on “The View,” "I would chain her to my car and say 'Nooo!'" the first-time mother said.

"I would kill her. I want her to do anything except what we do. I don't want her to do anything in television," McCain explained.

Her first audio memoir, “Bad Republican,” dropped on October 21, where she tells her side of the story.
