For many Brit’s the dilemma on Meghan Markle and her undeniable influence on the future of the royal family has been of discussion since news broke of her engagement to Prince Harry. But, with all the talk of the royal family, Meghan has her own personal toxicity with relatives to deal with. It is unimaginable the level of scrutiny someone like Meghan faces on the day to day but when the genesis of a lot of the brutal criticisms is coming from your own sister along with father that has to be a different kind of pain.
Although the marriage ceremony between Harry and Meghan was beyond beautiful and a bit of a stray from traditional royal weddings, there was an air of sadness. With young girls who dream of that one special day where ironically an image of a “prince” is involved, the desire for their father to be hand in hand with them as they walk down the aisle is an ingrained part of that flashbulb moment. So, to think that Meghan actually snagged a real prince and her own father wasn’t in attendance had put such a damper on things. Not to mention her borderline embarrassing sister Samantha Markle showing up and showing out when it comes to demeaning her sister so publicly with a resounding jealous tone.
It is an utter shame that her family even after she has become a wife and a mother to son Archie still have something negative to say. Her older not so articulate father continues to give distasteful interviews and sound bites to the media on his own daughter and with every word seals the door lock and key on any type of future reconciliation with her. Although many Brit’s like to paint Markle as the one who wants to separate herself from her own family and Harry’s that assumption isn’t incredibly fair. Considering what both units have put her through time and again it is no wonder that she wants to get away from them. If each of us had the opportunity to be in her shoes would we see the value in that glass slipper, after being shamed for how big our feet are? The secret is coming out slowly but surely that royal life doesn’t seem to be worth it. This superficial fairytale life is nothing more than a figment of imagination carefully crafted to keep everyday people infatuated. Now, that love spell is wearing off.
