Chris Harrison, the beloved host of ABC's The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, is seen as an impartial mediator between the Bachelor or Bachelorette and their contestants. Beyond providing context for the show and creating segues into its different segments, Harrison often becomes a shoulder to cry on and a source of security for his Bachelors and Bachelorettes. He is seen as someone who forms genuine relationships with his stars and truly wants to see them happily married. However, Harrison has recently named some stars who have caused him trouble, and one in particular who he found impossible to like.

Chris Harrison is known for guiding Bachelors and Bachelorettes through their season, comforting and encouraging them through their toughest moments. He is also very vocal about wanting them to succeed outside of the Bachelor franchise, like when he openly supported the most recent Bachelorette, Hannah Brown, when she competed on Dancing With The Stars. Beyond that, he's become close personal friends with contestants Ryan and Trista Sutter, and even officiated the wedding of Bachelorette alumni JP and Ashley Rosenbaum. So what does it take to get on Harrison's bad side?

The current Bachelor, Peter Weber (or Pilot Pete as he's known among fans) is known for being kind, bilingual, and a lover of windmills. That said, Harrison has admitted that this season has been "turbulent" (pilot joke, anyone?) Harrison explained that Weber was "hard to read," and so Harrison struggled to identify what Weber was looking for in a partner. While this may make for entertaining TV--and this season has been very dramatic, with "Champagne-gate" and the uncertain return of Hannah Brown--it can create difficulty in Weber's search for a partner. However, while Harrison has expressed ambivalence toward The Bachelor's current star, he's far from Harrison's least favorite.

Like many viewers, Harrison struggled to relate to season 18 star Juan Pablo Galavis. After being eliminated by Desiree Hartsock on season 9 of The Bachelorette, Juan Pablo slept with multiple women, a move that's usually frowned upon, and refused to profess his love for his season's "winner," Nikki Ferrell. Breaking with tradition, Harrison called Juan Pablo out for his behavior on After The Final Rose, telling him "I’m speaking for everyone who is dying right now and throwing things at their television. You can actually express your feelings."

What Does Harrison Think After The Fact?

Although it may seem as though there would be bad blood between Harrison and Galavis, Harrison insists that he was never angry and that there is no ill will. Rather, Harrison was “befuddled and just confused as to what fight (Juan Pablo) was in.” Despite this, their relationship is nowhere near the level of Harrison's relationship with, say, JP and Ashley Rosenbaum: Harrison reveals that he and Juan Pablo have not seen each other or spoken since After The Final Rose.
