The 2020 Grammys became ground zero for fashion moves made by musical artists and celebrities. From avant-garde to contemporary glam, they shook up the red carpet and stunned audiences watching at home.

More effective still, the artist's performing had several wardrobe changes, all stunning in their own styles. From designers like Christian Siriano and Gucci, ballgowns to fuzzy pink slips, these artists pulled out all the stops on their looks. Here's a list of the best dressed artists of the night.

Lizzo had an assortment of looks for her big night. Her red carpet dress was an all-white Atelier Versace, littered with Swarovski crystals and feathers. Her stylist, Marko Monroe, said they wanted Lizzo to represent all the iconic women that inspired her musically.

Lizzo's stage look started with a Christian Siriano ballgown, black with shining crystals on it as well. She then stripped down to a custom Zigman bodysuit with neon stripes. Lizzo shined as she owned the stage first.

Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X has become a model for the modern gay cowboy, and the 2020 Grammys were no exception. His red carpet look consisted of a neon fuschia outfit from Atelier Versace, cowboy hat included. His pink jacket was studded in Swavorski crystals, while his mesh shirt was topped with a pink harness.

For his performance look, he strutted out in Gucci logoed shirt and pants by Dapper Dan, silver and holographic all at once. A silver cowboy hat also included.

Billie Eilish

Eilish is known for her surreal gender canceling outfits, her red carpet look a more elevated version of the default. In custom crystal embroidered Gucci, the many accessories around the piece put it together. A neon green turtleneck with flowing sleeves, GG jogger pants and bowling shirt, face mask, silver-green sneakers, and black-green GG nails.

Her performance look was also a white GG suit, keeping in pattern with her favorite designer. She looked amazing performing and receiving her awards in it all.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande walked the red carpet in a giant tulle, light gray Giambattista Valli ballgown. She pranced about and posed for photographers, sitting down at one point, surrounded by all the fabric. She looked like a flower in a gray field.

Her performance looks were just as eye catching, a custom black Givenchy Haute Couture dress matched with elbow length white gloves. She eventually changed into a furry pink slip, garter and belt outfit for "7 rings" and "thank u, next".
