Meghan Markel and Prince Harry have seemingly moved on to their new life in Canada. Yet, there is a lot that the royal family has to figure out now that they are not going to be carrying out royal engagements. There have actually been reports that indicate the Queen happens to think they are not going to be well suited for life outside of royal protection. So, she has gone ahead and put a plan in place to have everything ready should they chose to return.
If there is anyone in the world that knows how bad things can get with the paparazzi one would think it is the kids of Princess Diana. Her departure from the royal household could be to blame for some of the events that lead to her death.
Essentially once the couple leaves royal “protection” they are going to become fair game for the paparazzi. If you add to that the fact that Canadian taxpayers are not on board with granting the couple with personal security this could be a recipe for total failure.
According to a report issued by Skynews the couple has already gotten into some problems with the paparazzi. They have even threatened to follow through with legal action after a group of photographers got a little too close for some pictures.
If this is any indication it seems that the queen’s fears have quite the merit to them. One of the reasons why the couple chose Canda was the potential “freedom” they would be able to achieve. Yet, the place is now crawling with photographers from all over the globe.
There has been a lot of speculation over who is going to be taking over the royal duties that the duke and duchess of Sussex carried out. The obvious answer is that Prince William and Kate Middleton are going to be taking on a heavier workload.
Another theory speculates that Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are set to take on a more prominent royal role. That would seem more unlikely though. For one they are not full-time royals they actually have their own jobs. Also their father Prince Andrew is not exact
ly in a great spot right now.
The plan the royal family is going to set up may include living accommodations and a royal salary to go with it. The problem is that up until their decision to split from the family the couple had a royal allowance. Which, was paid for by the British taxpayers.
If they decide to come back they could not just take up where they left off. They would have to figure out where the Queen is going to allow them to live. Also whether or not they would be getting public funding.
