Cardi B was sure to turn heads at the 2020 Grammys, even if she didn’t make a big appearance, and she sure did with her two drop-dead-gorgeous dressed that she wore. The real show stopper was her jewel-encrusted Mugler dress that she posted to Twitter saying “DIAMOND.”
The dress is a sheer nude gown with a turtle neck and oversized sleeves that drape along her back like a cape. The dress also comes with lines on lines of jewels too.
Her husband Offset, a member of Migos, was dressed up in a head-to-toe leather look by Chrome Hearts.
Cardi B is no stranger to Mugler fashion. In fact, she wore a vintage couture look from the French fashion house to the 2019 Grammys. The outfit was from the 1995 couture collection of the designer and was made to look like a human pearl in an oyster shell gown. The look was completed with a pearl headpiece and a smoked purple eyeshadow look.
Cardi B also served up looks at the Pre-Grammy Gala that took place on Saturday. There she wore a dress that screamed hot and doesn’t give a f*ck. The fuchsia dress was also sequenced across its entire length and the neckline left nothing to the imagination. Cardi B slayed the look all night as she and her husband got comfy, kissing and cuddling as the festivities proceeded. With this dress, it is no wonder Cardi felt the need to slay again at the real event.
This Grammy show marks the year anniversary for Cardi B walking away with her first Grammy for her album “Invasion of Privacy. Since then she has been pumping out hits left and right with her collaborations. Bruno Mars, Blueface, and Lil Nas X are just a few of the people she has collaborated with.
Now, fans are holding out hope for her second studio album that the rapper has teased might com out in 2020, but nothing is confirmed yet.
For now, we can just appreciate the striking and beautiful looks that rapper Cardi B is serving us until we can finally hear her voice again on an album of her own. While we love all of the collabs that she has been putting her voice on, nothing beats a solo Cardi B album (we really need one). At least we have her 2020 Grammys dresses to give us a taste of that great Cardi energy that we all love.
