The 2020 Grammys has amazing performances, once in a lifetime collabs, and red carpet looks to shock the world. The Grammys are a place for artists and celebrities to show off their unique fashion style and destroy the show. So, here are five looks from the 2020 Grammys that went above and beyond the call.
First off, Lil Nas X showed up in a pink Versace punk cowboy outfit that stunned and awed. The see-through shirt, straps, and cropped jacket stunned as he entered the red carpet.
Keeping with the Versace train, Lizzo awed the audience with a Versace white gown that pulled all of the eyes to her as she entered the room. A sweetheart neckline, exposed arms turned up the sexiness, and a high slit in the dress turned up the sexiness while the white color, fur stole, and natural dewy makeup kept the elegance turned up to an 11.
Her Lorraine Schwartz jewelry landed at a whopping $2 million with a double-strand diamond necklace, custom diamond earrings and diamond rings.
Billy Porter came to the red carpet sporting a design by Scott Studenberg that was inspired by Billie Eilish. Billy’s designer recounted to Vanity Fair, “Billy and Billie Eillish had a beautiful moment on the red carpet at the [American Music Awards] where they both gushed over each other’s hats. Billie was wearing a Victorian inspired beekeeper bonnet with netting covering her face. After the event, Billy jokingly told me he loved her look but after 30 years of working his way to Hollywood, ‘y’all are gonna see my face!’”
Ariana Grande showed up in a pale-grey-blue Giambattista Valli dress that was layered with tulle and ruffles that swallowed her up all the way to the hip. The top of the dress was a simple grey top and the rest of the outfit was styled with opera-length gloves, custom Christian Louboutin heels with custom non-slip soles, and a soft glam makeup look.
The dress reportedly reaches up to 20 feet in diameter, making it a memorable moment at the 2020 show.
Billie Eilish showed up to the red carpet sporting an oversized Gucci shirt and pants. The whole outfit was green and brown and draped over the artist.
The 18-year-old also had a cuffed sleeve that poofed out and a high neckline. To complete the outfit, she also had lime green boots.
Those were just some of the amazing looks to come out of the 2020 Grammy’s red carpet but there were many many more that shocked and stunned the stage.
