“Red Flags” have been in vogue for a while now. These two words have been widely accepted on social media to mean “danger signs,” especially in relationships.
Additionally, almost everyone on social media has shared their thoughts on two or more things they’d flee from or never condone in a relationship.
Celebrities weren’t left out. Many of them jumped on the “Red Flag” train to air their thoughts.
Olivia Munn is one of them who spoke a lot about former relationships and said some interesting things about apparent red flags.
What relationship red flags did she mention? What did she say about what she believes is a red flag for others about her? Keep reading to find out.
Who is Olivia Munn?
Munn was born on July 3, 1980, in Oklahoma. She is an actress and former television host from the United States. Also, her father is of German, Irish, and English descent, while her mother is Vietnamese.

Munn moved to Los Angeles after she interned at a news station in Tulsa. She started her professional career as a television host for the gaming network G4, particularly on “Attack of the Show” from 2006 to 2010.
She was also a correspondent on Jon Stewart’s Daily Show from 2010 to 2011. Munn is well renowned for her role as Sloan Sabbith in Aaron Sorkin’s HBO political drama series “The Newsroom” (2012–2014). She starred in all three seasons of the show.
Relationship Red Flags For Olivia Munn
Despite the “instigating” things he said to her only months into their relationship, Munn confessed she had been seeing a conspiracy theorist for “a few years.” She revealed this while she spoke with Anna Faris for her Unqualified podcast.
She claimed she assumed he was “sheltered” at first, but she found out “quite late” that the things he said were “huge red flags.” Munn concluded by saying she can’t date conspiracy theorists. She added, “That’s just not my cup of tea.”
She revealed another of her red flags to Cummings when it comes to the dating world. She said, “A boy will not love you if he does not love his mother or a mother figure, because he won’t love you.”
She also noticed one danger flag in her friends. One was if they ever admitted to flirting with a “partner or husband” because they were insecure. She claimed that a friend had revealed it to her, after which they were no longer friends.
She Also Dished On Some Of Her Former Love Interests
While she didn’t mention any names, Munn spilled some juicy secrets about her prior affairs when speaking with Whitney Cummings for her Good For You podcast.
“I had this one boyfriend in particular who was the absolute worst at just having sex,” she admitted.
There are a few well-known faces on the list of potential candidates. She had a serious relationship with NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers and, before him, actor Joel Kinnaman.
She also dated Chris Pine for a short time, and there have been reports of affairs with Justin Timberlake, Chris Pratt, and Justin Theroux, though Munn has dismissed a few of them.
Munn also guessed on the sexuality of an anonymous ex, who she claimed preferred “spooning from behind.” She believed he did that so he wouldn’t see her face. So, is spooning from behind a red flag for Munn?
Although she didn’t say that was a red flag, she didn’t clear the air on it as well.
‘I Wish I Was More Interesting,’- Olivia Munn
Although she spoke a lot about red flags for her in relationships, Munn also disclosed what she felt were her “red flags.” While she spoke to Cummings, she revealed “something within me that’s certainly a red flag for somebody else, I wish I were more fascinating,” she continued.
“Like, I’m not an artist.” She clarified, “I truly don’t know,” she explained that she frequently pretends to know things about art to appear more attractive.
However, that doesn’t seem like such an alarming red flag to have. And it appears that the actress has a lot of interesting and exciting things to talk about this year.
Besides, her love life seems to be taking a new turn. In 2021, she began dating comedian John Mulaney. In September of that year, they announced that Munn was expecting their first child.
