Kanye West has officially ditched his entire name.

Earlier this week, the rapper changed his name from Kanye Omari West to simply “Ye.”

A California judge granted the Yeezy creator’s petition to legally change his name to “Ye

‘Daily Show’ host Trevor Noah is getting in the fun-Ye.

On Tuesday’s episode of his late-night talk show, Trevor said, “Today, the iconic rapper, fashion designer and self-appointed youth pastor made a big announcement. He is Kanye no more. From now on, is full legal name is simple Ye.”

“And I’ll be honest. I get why he changed it,” he joked. “I mean, if I had gone super MAGA like he did last year, I would also want to distance myself from myself.”

Kanye reportedly stated that he changed his name to “Ye” because he believes it’s the most commonly used word in the Bible.

To that Trevor said, “It’s not a belief. It’s something you can count, and “ye” is not remotely the most common word in the Bible.”

“Look I’ll say this. I joke about Kanye all the time, but this is one instance when I’m completely on his side. Changing his name might be the least weird thing he’s ever done,” he noted. Lately Ye has been sporting creepy white masks.
