Gordon Ramsay’s daughter, Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay, has absolutely no time for buggars.
The “Strictly Come Dancing” contestant was recently called “chubby” by a UK radio show host.
UK radio program “LBC” is under fire after host Steve Allen said, “She’s a chubby little thing isn’t she? Have you noticed. Probably her dad’s cooking I should imagine.”
Steve Allen's Despicable Comments!
Mind you, these distasteful words are coming from a 67-year-old man.
Tilly, who is feisty like her father, hit back at the old man on Instagram.
In a post published on Wednesday, October 19, Till wrote, “I try not to read and listen to comments and negativity however recently being called out on a national radio station by a 67-year-old man is a step too far.”
Too Far
“Steve I draw the line at commenting on my appearance. It’s such a shame that someone. Is trying to make such a positive experience negative. This isn’t the first and definitely won’t be the last comment made about my appearance and I accept that and I’m learning to accept myself” her post continued. “But please remember that words can hurt and at the end of the day I am only 19 and I’m so grateful for all the amazing opportunities I have been able to take part in.”
Tilly won't be torn down!

She concluded that she will NOT tolerate people thinking it’s okay to publicly criticize and comment anyone’s weight or appearance.
Tilly also shared a note written by Dr. Alex George sent to LBC Radio to her Instagram Story.
The note from Dr. George reads, “Steve Allen made the following comments about Tilly Ramsay live on air, “She’s a chubby little thing isn’t she? Have you noticed? Probably her dad’s cooking I should imagine. I am absolutely horrified by these remarks. It is widely recognized just how damaging such comments about someone’s weight are and the effect they can hve on an individual’s mental health. We must not only think about Tilly here, which I can imagine could be significant but also the potential impact to listeners of the show.”
The note concluded, “To reiterate, the discussion highlighted above about a youn person’s weight live on air is not acceptable.”
Tilly reposted the letter to her story with the caption, “Thank you so much ❤️.”
Her famous father has yet to comment on it, but I can only imagine Gordon’s already had a few words with LBC Radio.
