According to a Fox report, Oprah is getting fully behind the couple and their decision. "I support them 1,000 percent," she said. And perhaps one of the biggest things to influence her perception of the situation came from Prince Harry's explanation for wanting to start an independent life with Meghan and their 8-mont-old, Archie.

"So, when you’ve thought about it for months and what Harry said in that charity statement the other day… The last line of his statement where he said that he had to make the decision to back away from his family in order to move forward in peace with his new family," she continued. "I mean … I don’t know how they came up with those words, but who doesn’t feel that."

Oprah shared that she didn't believe anybody has a right to say anything about Prince Harry and Meghan's decision, after all, they are simply planning for the best life that they can, away from the negative criticisms and scrutiny. "I’m saying he did what he needed to do for his family, and that’s all I will say about that and I don’t think anybody, anybody else has any right to say anything. That’s his decision for his family," she continued.

According to a report by Inquistr, Oprah reiterated those same thoughts and believes that people should reserve judgment because the couple's decision was in the best interest of their family and the immediate future. "I don’t think anybody else has any right to say anything when a person has sat and thought about what is the best decision for him and his family and then he makes that decision… none of us have any right to say anything about that."

Oprah also believes that the couple made the right choice. "Who doesn’t feel what it takes to make those decisions, to give up everything you’ve known your whole life, to say ‘I am going to choose this new life and what I believe to be the truest vision to myself," she said to BET in an interview.

Oprah is a firm believer that the decision that was made it the correct one for their family and future, but does she think the decision was made in haste and irresponsibly? Absolutely not. Once again, she's sharing that judgment should be reserved. "Who are any of us to stand in judgment of that? That’s what I think?" Oprah asked. Her friend, Gayle King, who was present, agreed sharing, "They didn’t make that [decision] in a vacuum. There were a lot of conversations, and that’s why I thought it was very unfair to say that the Queen was blindsided."
