Sophie Turner is basically the queen of the internet. We know her as Sansa Stark and also the wife of Joe Jonas (though, she's much more than just a J-Sister).

If Sophie Turner is willing to step in to help out on the Lizzie McGuire reboot, there's no reason we should stop her.

It was recently revealed that the Lizzie McGuire revival was delayed because showrunner Terri Minsky stepped down. With the show showrunner-less, it's unclear exactly how long the delay is going to be.

Hopefully, the delay doesn't push the show we've all been waiting for back too far. Lizzie McGuire was about Lizzie (Hilary Duff) and her two best friends Miranda and Gordo as they navigated their lives in high school. Lizzie was also guided by a tiny animated version of herself, who often gave her bad life advice.

Because the audience has such high expectations for the show, they decided to take a step back and rethink what they were doing with the season. Because of this, the show has been put on hold for the time being.

However, as far as Turner is concerned, she's happy to step in and fill in for the role of Miranda.

"The Lizzie McGuire show has been put on hold," Turner stated. "I'm obviously devastated like the rest of us, but I'm pretty sure — like, is Miranda appearing in this season, because I'm here. I'm available. I am your new Miranda. Lizzie McGuire people, please reach out to me."

In the revival, Duff returns as Lizzie McGuire and we even get to see Adam Lamberg return as Gordo. However, it appears that the original actress who played Miranda will not be returning.

If anyone will actually take Turner's proposition seriously, we're unsure. However, when it comes to future projects, Turner is looking more in the direction of Lizzie McGuire and less toward a Game of Thrones spin-off.

In an interview with Variety at the SAG Awards she said, "I would give anything to go back to what we had, but it wouldn't be the same. It would be different, different people running it. I don't want to be a part of it. Unless they give me the big bucks I'm not doing it!"

Unfortunately, there isn't much news about when the Lizzie McGuire reboot will come out or when the show will be off hold. Hopefully it won't be too long and we'll finally get to see Lizzie McGuire chasing her dreams in the big city as an adult.

Sophie Turner or not, the show is likely to continue after its creative hold has been lifted. Maybe we'll end up seeing Turner on the show after all. Do you think she would make a good fit for Miranda? Or maybe she'd be better off playing an entirely new character. Either way, we'd be happy to see her there.
