Bresha Webb is only on the come up as she stars in Tyler Perry’s new Netflix movie A Fall From Grace and this is just the beginning of audiences getting to know the starlet's name. “I went to Baltimore School of the Arts, which is known for discovering Tupac and Jada Pinkett-Smith. I was encouraged to go to school in L.A, so I went to the California Institute of the Arts.”

Webb started out in 2007 with small roles in TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy and ER. Eventually becoming apart of the main cast on the show Love That Girl. Quickly Webb’s character Imunique Jefferson became a starring role in the show, catching the eye of actor and singer Jamie Foxx.

Foxx was on set of the show one day and was immediately drawn to Webb. According to Bresha’s interview with Black Enterprise, Foxx helped Webb get into the comedy industry on a mainstream level. “Jamie Foxx has been a great mentor to me. I met him while I was doing Love that Girl because it was created by Bentley Kyle Evans who was one of the creators of The Jamie Foxx Show,” she said. “Jamie came to set and he put me on this comedy show on Fox and helped me really get into the mainstream comedy world.”

As Webb continued her climb up her success ladder she caught the attention of Marlon Wayans, who has assisted in her journey to the top.

“Marlon asked me to open up for him in New York when I was working on ‘The Last O.G.’ and to come down to the Comedy Cellar,” she says. “I opened up for him, and he was like, ‘Okay, now that I’ve got you here, I want you to play my wife.’ Webb declined at that moment.

Wayans cast Webb on his self-titled NBC sitcom, Marlon as his nemesis, Yvette.

The show only lasted for two seasons but he became close to Webb and believed in her talent so much that he asked her again to play his wife in the Netflix movie Sextuplets. Webb finally accepted.

The comedian actress really took off last year by starring in Lifetime holiday movie, Merry Liddle Christmas, starring opposite of Destiny Child’s singer Kelly Rowland. Then switching up to show us her dramatic side in Tyler Perry’s A Fall From Grace by playing a lawyer, named Jasmine who is coming into her own.
