When Was Adele's Last Album?

Six years have passed since "25," Adele's last album came out, and fans have been not so patiently waiting as she gathered her collection of life experiences to spin into soul-catching tearjerking songs.

Adele finally put them out of their misery in an Instagram post, where she confirmed that the wait was finally over.

With everything that has been going on in her life since she released the last album, the wait is quite understandable. She went through a public divorce with her husband Simon Konechi in 2019 and currently co-parents her nine-year-old son.

Adele's Isn't Threatened By The Release Of Ed Sheehan's 'Equals.'

Adele's reaction is nothing short of funny when asked about her concerns with Ed Sheeran's album. Sheeran's album will be released on October 29, just weeks shy of Adele's release date.

During her conversation with Hearts Radio host Jamie Theakston, he revealed that Sheeran's fourth album is set to be released "at the same time" as hers.

Quite shocked, Adele asked, "On the 19th?" Theakston then said, "Well, not on the 19th, no, don't panic." This was met with Adele's laughter, and she said, "I ain't panicking, he can panic."

Theakston and co-host Amanda Holden laughed along, then Holden said, "She's going to smash it."

To show there were no hard feelings, Adele added, "I love Ed, I love Ed, and I really love his wife, Cherry."

Was 'Easy On Me' An Absolute Hit?

"Easy On Me" was released around midnight UK time and gave fans a first glance at 30 Adele's divorce-themed album, "30." This album is among the lineup of her wildly successful albums "19," "21," and "25."

"Easy On Me" explains Adele's decision to walk away from her marriage in 2019 and asks for understanding from her son and ex-husband.

In a line, so naked and raw, she sang, "I changed who I was to put you both first, but now I give up." This song was Adele's way of reaching out to people she hurt, but it also doubles as a comfort to people who have been through a terrible breakup.

'It's Sensitive For Me,' Adele Speaks Out On Her New Album

In an interview with Zoe Ball, Adele described her new album as "bloody hard work" to make.

"I would sing things I didn't even realize I was feeling or thinking," she admitted. "I can't unlock a door for my mental health and take the key with me; I've got to leave it in the door for everyone else, and I'm in a strong place now where I feel like I can put that vulnerability out."

She recently said that there would probably not be a hit like "Hello" on the album, and she was fine with that. She said in her interview with Vogue, "That song catapulted me in fame to another level that I don't want to happen again."

On how she feels about "30," she said, "It's sensitive for me, this record, just in how much I love it," "I'm not letting go of this one," she admitted. "This is my album. I want to share myself with everyone, but I don't think I'll ever let this one go."

Even with Sheeran dominating the charts with singles like "Bad Habits" and "Shivers" and his album's release close to Adele's, it's safe to say Adele is not bothered at all.
