It's that time of the year again. Some of the most celebrated musicians who ruled the charts and broke boundaries last year will hit the Grammy stage and most likely also walk away with arguably the most respected award in the music industry. So what do we know so far about the award ceremony taking place on Sunday, January 26th? First things first, there's an extremely diverse and exciting list of performers set to hit the stage, including old and new favorites.

Who You Can Expect to Hit the Stage

It seems like every day comes with the announcement of a new Grammy 2020 performer. Confirmed artists that will be taking the stage include familiar favorites like Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Camilla Cabello, The Jonas Brothers, Gwen Stefani, and Blake Shelton. Joining them will be newer musicians that absolutely dominated the charts in 2019 like Lizzo and 18-year-old Billie Eilish.

Spanish artist Rosalia, who has already picked up a few Latin Grammys, is also set to wow the crowd. A surprising performer comes in the form of Tyler, The Creator, who until recently was seen as a bit of a "niche" artist who hadn't quite gripped the mainstream crowd. However, his recent shift in musical artistry within the past 2 or so years has opened him up to a wider audience and perhaps helped him snag a spot on the Grammy stage.

Tyler himself even seemed surprised about his album, "IGOR" being nominated in the "Best Rap Album" category since he doesn't consider the album to be a rap album. Perhaps the Grammys are still trying to figure out where to place the artist, but his spot on the stage means at least they're interested in trying to find out.

Also in the building to entertain will be well-renowned groups Aerosmith and Run-D.M.C. On the bill as well as Brandi Carlile, Tanya Tucker, R&B songstress H.E.R. and 10-time Grammy winner Bonnie Raitt. Last but not least will be crowd favorite, Charlie Wilson.

Hosting the star-studded event is none other than piano extraordinaire Alicia Keys, who also hosted last year's Grammy Awards show. The selection is fitting seeing as that the musician has won 15 Grammys and has been nominated a whopping 29 times.

The only presenter who has been confirmed is singer Bebe Rexha. Rexha earned her first two Grammy nominations during last year's ceremony and has been a consistent name in the pop and EDM world for the past couple of years.

There's no telling what might happen on the Grammy stage and the show's been known to have some gossip-worthy content every single year. The red carpet fashion will certainly be something to talk about as well as who's sitting next to who (will both Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber be in the building?) I'm just hoping no one trips up the stairs while going to get their award. The day is almost here so get ready to have something to talk about.
